I went white with black interior. I've had a white car before, and loved it (1995 Toyota Vienta manual) and loved it.

Just having the paint rebaked to prevent flaking. Government cutbacks means they have to wait for bushfire season to do it.

As a Professional Firefighter/EMT, all I can say is "radiant heat" ...

It took me almost a month of ownership to see any in the wild, and then I peeked two in about 12 hours. A pretty dirty white one in downtown LA and a panthera in a parking garage in Noho. Still haven't seen any driving around.

As a Professional Firefighter/EMT, all I can say is "radiant heat" ...

That picture was just the still shot, there’s video released by Queensland Police of a Highway Patrol motorcycle officer also driving through it. Takes some big brass ones to ride through that with no protection, especially with the radiant heat. Full credit to the police and firefighters risking their lives to protect the community.

Hopefully this link works and isn’t geolocked. Shows some but not all of it, different media have released different segments of the same footage.

Community service which they will probably get instead of time behind bars should be working in the properties they helped destroy. They should also be taken to a Burns Unit in a hospital and see burns victims and what they go through.
I know us Victorians complain about the rain and four seasons in one day but I feel blessed to live where I do.

That's such a shame. I live in California and a lot of our wildfires are started by arson too, it always pisses me off.

Silky Silver eastbound on the Great Western Highway @ Penrith 2:20pm this afternoon, then 10 minutes later a Snow White Pearl northbound Mamre Road @ St. Mary’s.
My wife who was the passenger took the photo of the Silky Silver & I was in my own lane & not on the wrong side of the road & well within the speed limit.
