H&R RWD specific lowering springs

I'm on the fence about getting lowering springs. They look GREAT, but I'm concerned about the resultant alignment and tire wear.

After install and getting an alignment, was the shop able to get the alignment back to factory-stock specs, or was it a little bit off?

Was the shop able to set the rear camber within specs?

Any other problems you may have experienced after the install?

I have the lowest springs in H&R springs. The rear does camber a bit. Luckily if 2anted, the rear has alot of adjustment to get it back to factory spec.

The front has no adjustment for camber. Luckily it doesn't change much going lower.

I think the tire wear will be negligible from factory if the rear is set up at the alignment shop.

Although I adjusted my rear camber closer but not to factory. Set my toe and on my way. You do have to check toe atleast for a couple months. It will move slightly. That's where tore wear kicks in because the car lowers another 1/4" after 2 months and now the toe is out without you knowing. I drive 4k a year and I haven't noticed any irregular wear. Right on cue from my experience.

Hope this helps.

Has anyone installed the 28701-1 on a RWD? If so what's your take on them. I was told they would be fine on RWD. I've been waiting 2 months for them and would hate to cancel and try to find the -2s.

It will be higher in the front.
I have a RWD, I went with the -2 from eBay. Even dropE9A6DEBF-CF02-4321-B475-8484112BA4DE.webp

So I threw on a set of Ark GT-S rear springs and it seems to sit exactly the same as the H&R so my next move is to probably cut 1/2 a coil from the bottle of H&R rear spring and see how that looks..

Please share the specs for the rear wheels and tires. I'm trying to cram some 285/35/19 drag radials on mine with these springs. Would like to get at least as flush as yours without any possibility of rubbing. If it was you that responded to my FB thread thanks for that data and sorry for the redundancy. I'm trying to get as many data points as possible.

The Nittos were not available in that size.

Ah..

I would think it would change gear ratios to be a lil slower with a taller than stock tire

4% difference is not enough to cause any issues. I'll take the added traction on launch since I'm RWD.
