H&R RWD specific lowering springs

@STINGER @StungnTn thx for the great info on these.. finally got em on. I have to say much more stiff than the eibach which I like. Comfort mode feels just right for a dd. View attachment 30983
What a great stance your car has now you’ve lowered it & with the addition of those wheels, that sits & looks perfect, good job & enjoy the stares....

Tried them out on a canyon run yesterday in Angeles Credt hwy. felt fairly composed and seemed to handle better than the eibachs. Except.... they are lower and dealt with some rubbing but seemed like it rubbed the inner fender lining and not the actual fenders.

Anyone else w/ these have 20s?

What’s your wheel and tire specs?

20x9 +30 245
20x10 +40 285
Have you confirmed where it's rubbing exactly? On all of my previous cars it almost always rubs on the fender liner closest to the outside edge of the tire.
I haven't come completely up to speed on the Stingers best offsets and sizing yet, but I'm assuming it may be because of your +30 offset, where a +35 offset may be slightly better, as it pulls in the wheel closer into the body giving it slightly more clearance.
I'll have to double check on how the Stinger fender and liners are in there, but this is where I suspect may be the rubbing area or even at the very top of the tire.

That's exactly where it is rubbing. In other cars, I didn't have that issue simply b/c the stinger liner has a bit of a ridge/flat spot before following the shape of the inner wheel well. The +30 is actually just right for tucking in, it's the shape of the fender liner that's causing it to rub. the tire doesn't show any damage, those little rubber specs are still in tact.

The H&R seems stiffer in the rear with the fronts being a bit softer. Do you know if this is a progressive spring and what the spring rate is??? I haven't been able to find that. Looks/feels good, I'll just have to monitor this thing...

H&R springs are typically linear rate, vs the Eibachs being progressive rate.
I haven’t seen a picture of the actual springs so I couldn’t tell you for sure.

EDIT: Found this pic of the springs. They look like dual-rate springs (the really tightly wound/close together springs toward the bottom of the picture) on the front springs. They could also be progressive if the spacing between the coils varies.. its hard to tell without measuring them.

The rears look like they're progressive due to the varying diameter coils.

This is perfect, similar spec to what i will be running. Im currently on godspeed's springs, as i was offered to try them out. And while they ride amazing, they are for awd, so i have to deal with the god awful mismatched wheel gap. Looks like i will be tracking down these to get!

Guy! I have a question for you guys. I have a G70 3.3t RWD. Im wondering if I should go with the Eibach springs or get these H&R springs that are made for the RWD. Let me know if you guys have experience with both, these and if you have had the Eibach's prior. Still contemplating on which springs to get, really want to lower my car. Thanks guys!

Are those bouncier than stock?

I would do these, the eibachs are for AWD and you will have a rake. and the g70 is slightly lighter.
