• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

I was there this past Saturday for drag strip.. Track is next for sure.. possibly at Shannonville next Friday.
Kia Stinger GT - 1/4 Mile Vs. (Challenger, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Vette, Nova)

Savvas, You can load your Stinger into the Water first, and if it floats, we'll go next.. :)
Lol. That’s why we have airbags. No?

Did you try pulling your AWD fuse off to compare 1/4 mile times?
No I didn't. is it o.k. to do that and put it back ? No problems after or dealer know it was unconnected later ?

I am sure it’s logged somewhere that the AWD is not online but the stinger is a RWD with an AWD add on. It will not even show an error code when you remove the fuse. Easily beats a C43 on a rolling race.

What I am not sure if the 2020 without the AWD fuse also disables the LSD.

Saw 2 new 2022 stingers on my way home tonight on the 401 eastbound from hwy 10. First was a ceramic grey at the 410/401 - sounded awesome. Didn't get to make eye contact. The second one was later at 409 merging onto 401. We were swapping collector an Express lanes. His was 2 000 km - mine a lot older 77,000 km. Cool looking Panthera with red interior. Lost sight of him after Kennedy.
Young dude (all relative) - seemed VERY happy with car - and rightly so.

I personally don’t like the new wheels on the 2022, abs those big exhaust tips expose the skinny pipes from the mufflers.

They also deleted a sunglasses holder, which sucks, but I like the red seatbelts and quilted interior touches.

Also in the 2022, there’s no longer a threaded stud on the passenger side strut tower that would allow one to properly install the Mishimoto oil catch can.

Not so sure it was you. I think I would have noticed the red addition to your lower sides. I didn't see that on the car that I was "playing" with.

Anyway, now that restrictions are looser, we should find a large parking lot to assemble in.

I propose the canadian tire parking lot off 401 ar brock road in pickering for anyone close by at about 11 am on saturday

Hmmm, ok strange. Someone told me there was no stud for the bottom mounting nut (it’s not really needed anyways). Glad you could
I just finished installing a Mishimoto OCC last weekend on my 2022 and there was no stud. But the hole is there where the stud be so I used a 5/16 x 3/4 inch metal screw screwed into the hole. Worked perfectly.

Getting the band clamp off of the hose at the PCV was a real bear. The tabs were horizontal and I could not properly get to them with any type of pliers. I wound up working the tabs around to a vertical position, taking the engine cover off, at which point I could easily get pliers on the tabs and move the band clamp back. The rest of the install was very easy.

You’re right, that PCV hose clamp was a bitch. I got it off using a long protruding needlenose plier. They should have used a band clamp with 1pc protruding prongs on both sides, not 2 small prongs on one side like that clamp that made us say bad words.

I plan on getting the facelift diffuser and adding these tips + Adro diffuser.
