Is there a way to see which # your vehicle is in terms of coming off the production line? that would be cool to find out... like what if our cars are just a couple away from one another? that'd be interesting.

Ask your dealer, if you don't mind, if they have had any other Stingers with the solid hood, and if they know anything about why yours is 'ventless'. You'd think somebody there would have some additional information on it.

My father-in-law was stripping down his Chevelle for a restoration and found a complete San Francisco Chronicle newspaper behind the rear seat along with a build sheet. It appeared to have been placed there by someone at that factory, as the VIN showed it being built in Fremont CA. Funny how folks will sometimes add a bit of quirk to every day activities to keep themselves amused, so who knows?
