There is No chance in hell they will remove it due liability and if you do tinker there goes your warranty.

Get the ecu tune from tork. I think he has found way to bypass top end speed limit if you are that worried about going that fast.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I know it sucks. But is it really that bad. Mine does 167 and I’ve been to about 140 or so and that was plenty. The fun is going 0 to 60 has quick as you can.

If and when I get this thing to go 0 to 60 in less then 4 seconds. I would not care if it was set at 100 mph.

The only way to take care of this is buying an ECU I have fought this battle and lost a long time ago before it was disclosed in all the adds in the fine print just get the ECU from tork and if u decide to go with someone else call ahead to make sure they lifted the limiter like tork did BUT you MUST BUY DIFFERANT TIRES !!! once the limiter is lifted. Second thing you need to keep in mind is once the other ECU goes in shit is gonna change it will throw a CEL for VIN not matching not a big deal really the major issue is IF you need major warranty work done and put the factory ECU back in the mileage will not match and will set off a HUGE red flag to service advisors so choose you poison !!! I was one of the first batch to be miss informed about the limp d*ck version of the stinger when there was not one disclaimers AT ALL so I have chose my poison and will drink it soon lol good luck in your choice
