No one should pay market price hold on to what it says on the website. From what I've heard in the US , They're only going to give the US 100 yellow stingers all the dealers supposedly are on a lottery to see who gets the yellow ones, so if this is the case you could guarantee those will be marked up have a good day .
The US is actually getting 400 yellow Stingers. Every Kia store was put in a head-to-head sales competition with another Kia store to see which one would get a yellow Stinger so about half of dealers should get one.

It's just so weird to me that this super hard to get definitely-marked-up exclusive (for now, boo) color limited edition has no sunroof, no upgraded sound system and the 3.5" dash display instead of the 7". Once you put any kind of markup on that you'll be paying more than a GT1, but if we're to believe that Yellow is eventually coming to the GT2 why not pay a little extra for that and get everything?

Edit: Sorry, the "Go for the Gold" limited edition (I hate calling it that, but that's what my dealer called it so until Kia gives us an official title that's it) is sort of off topic but anytime it comes up I can't wait to jump on Kia for not bringing yellow to North America in at least all GT trims.

Allegedly the yellows will have the limited slip differential so they would be a good performance model. Still not worth a markup in my eyes though.

They will and they'll also have the $2k Drivewise package which pushes the price damn near a GT1.

I actually didn't know they'd have the drivewise package. I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose of the "lower end performance model" if they are adding the nanny package to it.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Sadly, I have a feeling this probably isn't too far off from the real "special" name they'll use for it... I believe one of the dealers on here indicated they were getting one around 2/19, which is right in the middle of the Olympics. Hyundai/Kia are already taking advantage of the home field and global exposure, by sponsoring and providing vehicles... So they may be trying to ride out the theme.

I know @MurlinatoR has a yellow GT coming to his lot, and it's AWD without LSD (of course), but uncertain about Drivewise.

Hey guys, so the official name is the Sunset Yellow Limited Edition. It' coming one of two ways: base GT or GT2. No ADAS on the GT.
I have a GT AWD coming.

And I will NOT be marking it up.

Do other markets offer heated rear seats on the Stinger?

Yes, other markets do.

No, they will not be present on the limited edition. They will start showing up for the 2019 model.

Yes, the showroom models from the Korean market that Kia sent us had wireless charging, 360 degree camera, and rear heated seats. None of them are on the US version so some customers are a bit disappointed. Showroom models were also red on red which I can't order at the moment.
