I have been in contact with salesman, gm of the dealer, owner of dealership, Mr. West, Mr. Cafferkee(?) (Not sure how this ass spells his name), and sent a letter to the editor of motortrend. If you have someone who is listening I would love to have their phone number.

Send me a pm with your number I will text you I may have a few people soon.

I'd really recommend approaching your situation with a more level head. It's really no surprise you haven't gotten far in accomplishing anything regarding your Stinger if you treat the people you talk to on the phone/in person the same way you act on this forum.

Our detail crew is a little more competent than to leave stickers on the car when it is presented to the customer for delivery. That's rookie and looks bad.
What looks bad is someone like you not understanding that intelegant people can ADJUST their attitude. I have been respectful to everyone at KIA! (However, I can not say the same for all the people at KIA!) As I have hinted to their is more to my story. Some guys on this fourm act like their opinion is the only one that matters. (I work around very strong males and am married to one). So, if a girl gives back as much bs as she has recived why would you expect any less? Does a woman with confidence bother you? Last time I checked this was a internet fourm and not a business room! If I wanted David Millers advise I would say "David how would you deal with this"?. However, I have not nor will I ask you David your opinion on how to handle my dissatisfaction with KIA.

And I asked to pull my sticker myself! So, I will not claim the dealer made a rookie move!

I have had enough...

I suggest you start being respectful to everyone HERE.

Care to show me an example?

That's fantastic!

I expect a lot less BS from you HERE from this point forward. I don't give a rats ass how much BS you get outside this forum from Kia or wherever your life's problems come from. It's not COMING from here so stop GIVING it here.

What is your problem? Do you have some kind of a complex?

Like you said, this is an internet forum. Expect to receive advice from people without asking for it. Can't deal with that? Too bad. Mr. Miller has corresponded with you in a respectable manner. If you can't do the same in return - then maybe you should stay at Facebook with the rest of the degenerates who don't know how to act.

Did you really do it all by yourself? That's terrific! You have no idea how proud I am of you. I am not going to sit here and allow your nasty attitude and nasty comments to degrade our community. Remove the chip from your shoulder or get lost.

Sal,

I was looking at this thread just this morning. She is just complaining without providing anything constructive. I think she mentioned the German Autobahn somewhere, and I wanted to interject, but did not think worth my time and energy.
She's got something on her shoulders, and it's more than a chip or two.
We don't need her, she is not a contributor, just a shit disturber.
Block her. You have my vote. She can go and kill herself somewhere else at 130+ mph.

Cheers, Hans

well i have a Stinger GT2 AWD and can confirm it does well over 130 mph.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Mine too.
With all respect, you are missing the point. Certain models came with certain sets of tires and were therefore speed limited ex factory.
I bet you are running on 19" rims. :)

yes there is a cold weather package wich gives the stinger square 18" wheels. has anyone with this setup actually taken it on the road and maxed out at 130mph?

Someone on this forum somewhere said they put it on a Dyno and Max was 137 I think.

i see and i can understand why someone would be upset but reality if 99% of stinger owners wont ever even go that fast on the road. Also if it makes anyone feel any better PROSS/LAP3 doens thave a actual tune yet BUT they have unlocked the speed limiter on the ECU. they have tunnel racing over there and need the higher speeds based on how they race over there.

cold weather package

Nobody alive does that. The one that have tried it, did not survive. :)
Seriously, cars delivered with 19" rims are not speed limited, cars delivered with 18" rims (delivered = from factory!) are speed limited.
The winter tire package is on 18" rims but that should be considered after market and therefore plays no role.

I agree no one NEEDS the higher limit. I know I would end up wanting it as I would take it to the salt flats or somewhere, just because.. it's good to hear someone has already unlocked the limiter. I really think Kia should have just put high speed all seasons on the car. It sucks that my optima has a higher limit than the stinger with 18's. I also believe they could have been far more upfront about the limit. No one including dealers had any idea..

This discussion still exists BECAUSE this information (top speed limit) should have been more easily accessible or explained to buyers. It also should have been made known to sales people. It's a valid concern and Kia is already taking measures to ensure dealers are better informed. Personally, I feel the limiter should be increased for customers who have the proper tires. What I don't want here is for this discussion to become a bitch-fest where we're constantly bickering at one another when we could be working together, intelligently, for a solution that's fair.

I'm still trying to maneuver my way around this forum , but whoever was complaining about the 18 inch wheels on the AWD's got through I now notice that there is a disclaimer on the 18 inch wheels that Kia sets the speed limiter at 130 and if you change to 19s that will not change the limiter it will still be set at 130 . So good job somebody is watching these forums .

Apart from the "Estimated Figures based on Stinger GT with rear wheel drive." .... at the bottom of the poster?
That says it all read the fine print .

I just tapped into this conversation and honestly some of the info is good but the tone is bad.
This forum is not sexist but I can’t understsnd why some have taken it to heart to throw crap at others. I guess it comes down to your life story and how you have been treated that gets you the attitude bad or good. My advice is that those concerned drop the narky stuff and get back to the point. The forum is not a place to be dishing out attitude. We are here to inform, help and research the Stinger nothing else.
That’s my two cents worth.

Thankyou. Unfortunately like texting the written part is difficult to get the interpretation and emotion from writer corrrectly. If we stay away from this type of banter we can avoid the back lash and offence. I understand the passsion just channel it into a positive discussion. I had a similar issue not long ago and I actually misinterpreted what the poster was getting at. After some thought and patience I got what he meant and it’s all ok now. Just be careful. All good.

I have and 134 is it that is where it is governed at with the all season wheels and tires!!!

I think passion for something is great. Passion does not give license to ignore common sense/courtesy. Think of how many people working at KIA poured their passion into this car.

Wish I could contribute to a solution but I have none. I wish those affected get what they want out of this.

Yes I agree but we are all human, as long as it ends here and does not continue. Newbies need to read and understand the rules before hand so they know the dos and donts.
