The S6 is big but it can get off its ass and move. Same with the S7. Those things with a downpipe and tune are absolutely disgusting on launch.
Ya I wish I couldve launched on one, we were on the interstateThe S6 is big but it can get off its ass and move. Same with the S7. Those things with a downpipe and tune are absolutely disgusting on launch.
Ya I'm curious to know.. jb4 is on the way.. I'm gonna play around a little then dump some 94 and 97 octane in it separately and run map 3 and check the numbers logs etc.. I'm new to the turbo game but I'm definitely curious about meth injection !Probably not. Only way to know is to run it and log it. I've run it on 93 octane a few times and it just wasn't as clean as map 2. Just pulled a bit of timing. Map 2 performed just as good. Best thing to do is get WMI and run map 7. 21+ lbs of boost! Map 2 will get you 18-19 lbs depending on the weather. Enjoy Map 2 for a while. You will love it.
I do miss riding my ZXR750, but in Sydney, being on a bike is like playing Russian roulette with 3 bullets.^^Somewhere in my future is a K1600GT. I still enjoy corners, but at a more sedate rate these days. Hard to believe it'll be almost a decade since I sold the fz.
No being on a bike in Russia is like playing Russian roulette with a full magazine. In an AK-47. Like they say, In Russia you don't ride motorcycle, motorcycle rides YOU.I do miss riding my ZXR750, but in Sydney, being on a bike is like playing Russian roulette with 3 bullets.
You can do this but you need fuel wires to even out the AFR. I was getting bad misfires on the top of 3rd and into 4th. Fuel wires will solve this issue, at least for me it did. I ran Boostane and raised the octane to 102 per their mixing instructions. She ran verrrrrrrrry well with it.You guys run map 3 on 94 octane safely?
You know it! LolThose socks gotta be good for 100hp at least !!![]()
Thank you, I will test this out, I have access to multiple octanes of fuel but that shit gets real spendy, 94 isn't bad though or I'll try the E30 mix as we have plenty of E80 up here in Minnesota. I haven't installed it yet but I hoping there's plenty of information online on deciphering logs etcYou can do this but you need fuel wires to even out the AFR. I'm not advocating Boostane and there are pros and cons to running octane booster. I would do a bit of research and see if it fits your needs.
Boostane was rather spendy, $120/4 bottles - 32 oz bottle. I'd use a bottle per fill up but it wasn't my daily so it would last me a couple months. Ethanol is the way to go since it burns cleaner and is undetectable by dealerships. Really, the only downside to ethanol is MPGs. Who's counting with these cars though?Thank you, I will test this out, I have access to multiple octanes of fuel but that shit gets real spendy, 94 isn't bad though or I'll try the E30 mix as we have plenty of E80 up here in Minnesota. Hm they should. If not can always just go to firmware and download the most updated one and done.Does the jb4 automatically ship with the most up to date firmware? Finding I don't some of this stuff isn't exactly easy..
I use 60, sweet spot for me.Also do you guys adjust your lag fix settings? 60-80 is prime according to Burger
Thank youI use 60, sweet spot for me.
Yes once you get it off the app store, create profile etc and then get in the car/open engine, click connect on jb4 app in green and it should sync. Also, I'm installing this on Friday along with my catch can. I'm assuming I get the jb4 app in the app store and I should be able to automatically connect with the unit, jus trying to clear this up, info online isn't exactly the best
