Getting in and out

Just my opinion which means nothing but.....

1. Tramp stamps are never tasteful.
2. Nose piercings never look good unless your from India.
3. Tattoos hurt too much?? How many kids have you had?? A tattoo is over quicker than labour. :)
3 kids, went through 16 hours of labour for the first and thank god skipped it completely with the other two.
I'll die with non inked skin and only piercings I have are earrings :)

I’m 81 years young, and getting in my GT just calls for a “controlled descent” with a head tuck. Getting out is another matter. But, given the fun the car provides, it’s worth the effort.
Be easier just to live in the Stinger...saves you ever getting out.

@eljay ....
So good to hear  if I was to grow old " gracefully " I'd probably drive a small, oldies car but nah, that's just not me. To top it off I'm seriously considering a Borla Exhaust.:D
1. I don't think you are 'old' enough to worry about this Flame.
2. Borla exhaust hey. That bimodal just not 'hard' enough for you. :p

I agree with all three Ollie.

You know us women, I change my mind every now and then, just still contemplating. But I'd like to hear the Borla first before I'd have it installed. Hubby drove around in Sonic "unplugged " with my daughter who couldn't stand it, hubby thought the drone was over the top and couldn't talk to daughter because it was all too loud. So if Borla has a bad drone it will be all over red rover.

I can't give an opinion as I have never heard any exhaust 'live' other than the bimodal which I love. You will need to hook up with another Stinger owner who has a different exhaust and go for a drive to have a good listen. Only ever heard them on youtube. Not sure you could make a decision based on a video though.

Maybe when we go for our drive this weekend someone may have the exhaust ( wishful thinking perhaps )

You maybe the youngest Stinger owner on the forum but I have heard in one of our NSW ‘s car meets, they had owners of a Rafa Stinger, they were only 19 yrs.
Dang, 19 is a young age. I should get a title that says "Zoomer" for being the youngest

Yep, I honestly don't know how at that age they could afford a Stinger, unless they saved really well. My first car was a 1979 Ford Escort that cost $5,500 and it was Burnt Orange in colour

I'm 51 and have no issues getting in and out of my Stinger.

My living situation actually made it possible. I have a decent paying job and little day-to-day living expenses, which allowed me to grab a Stinger

I beat you Flame. My first car was a smartie blue 72 Ford Escort that cost me $1300. The kids nowadays are so spoilt.

My first car was a '71 Super Beetle. I have no idea what that Orange shade was called. Gave it to my bro-in-law in '84.

Lol. That's my "little" brother in the last pic.:P But you called that right; most pics of me are unsmiling or barely.

I'm 6'3" and don't have too much trouble getting out. I did SMACK my head getting out the first time on the test drive, so stay low till you get used to it haha.

Im 6,79134 foot short.
Getting in:
First i have to squat getting my knees to rouchly 90 degree angels.
Then i put the right butt cheek on the left edge of the seat.
Then i fold down my head so i can get my upper body in, looking sideways to get the head inside.
Then i fold my head into the middle and lean upper body to the right side.
"Scoot/jump" with my butt in so i can be seated properly-ish
Now i bend the right leg/knee so i can push my right leg down and get it under the steering wheel and then lift my left leg inside.
Now im ready to close the door. :D

Getting out:
Often i can just "swing out" my legs.
Then i start to "stand up" a bit, tossing out my arms.
The right arm/elbow placed on the outside and on top of the roof/curve near the wind shield
The left arm/elbow against the pillar between the door helping with the pushing/moving outwards motion
While i stand up.

This is one detriment of being a real Viking you man mountain.

Totally disagree there on all counts..

6'3". No issues entering or exiting, from the test drive to now. I've developed an exit technique, where I pivot to the left and plant my left foot on the ground, swing my right foot carefully between the open door and bottom door sill and plant it beside my left foot (the top priority is that I don't touch any part of the door with my right foot as I am extracting it from the car): now I'm facing the open door straight on, i.e. sitting on the seat ninety degrees to the left: I hook my left elbow around the edge of the B pillar and push off the steering wheel with my right hand.
I have reanalyzed my exit method: turns out that my muscle memory (sitting here at the keyboard) isn't the same as reality. Instead of putting BOTH feet side by side - with my body turned at a ninety degree angle to the seat - I am more likely to push off with my right foot on the floor mat while pushing off with my right hand on the steering wheel. The part about being very careful to miss the door and lower sill with my right foot still applies: but I noticed that I am simultaneously moving out and standing up as I remove my right foot from the floor mat, very carefully, and not in any hurry. I never leap out of my car. :D (even though I am physically capable of doing just that)
