Well, I bought my GT on December 11, 2018, and I now have 2600 miles on it. Plan on taking it in for the first oil change when I get 3000 miles on it. So everything is fine and I am very happy with my choice.
I dont have any paper copies the dealership has it in file.. and altho my account says USA im actuslly in canada.. done 4 oil changes so far going on 5th soon

Going for first oil change on Monday and have racked up almost 3500 miles in the first 3 months. I actually thought it was counting miles fast on me because I didn't think I had driven it that much yet.

Oh tell me about it. I bought my GT limited in February 2019 and have driven 6213 miles (10,000 kms) so far in just 3 months. I really don't feel like I have driven so much and there were times I felt the car just kept adding miles.

Yes it says normal conditions is 6k and Severe which it doesn't go into detail of what that means is 3k. I get free oil changes from the dealership but I assume that's only at 6k I told them I would pay for every other so that I would pay at 3k and free at 6k We decided to split the difference and said they would do the free one at 4k.
My first i did at 5,500 km / 3300 miles and some1 told me the first should be done earlyer because of metal fragments residue may be still sitting in engin block ( i doubt that on new cars were not in the '80s)

So if you do your own you could do it as if it were an small airplane engine.
When you change oil in them your supposed to take the filter apart and inspect it for metal fragments and also send an oil sample off to a lab for analysis. Of course if you car engine fails your suck on the side of the road, if your airplane engine fails your gonna have a really bad day
No, the tune is for 91 octane, and the car adjusts for lower down to 87 octane minimum. Anyone who says that synthetic needs replacing every 3K miles is a bald faced liar.
