Think the number 1 issue with her

think the #1 issue with her now is that she doesn’t want more crap in the apt so I would need to hide the stock parts from her lol

Just saw it. It’s about a 3 and a half to 4 hour drive one way for me. Little too far.

I have MBRP + Ark secondary + tips. It is louder than Borla + stock secondary. It also sounds deeper and less raspy than Borla.

The Borla will get noticed you'll be happy but not her. I had the opposite happen to me when the exhaust got changed she said and i swear "Now thats better"

I don't believe it would be to bad as long as the exhaust actually reaches the stock tips. If it falls short you will have reverb as the sound bounces off the floor which then amplifies the noise in the hollow hatch above which sounds like amphitheatre.

Previously with my Ark cat back i had to line heavily with Dynamat and dynaliner. I don't see the borla being an issue if it reaches the tips.

No worries! I ordered the Borla and the Aliexpress tips so we should be good! Hopefully they get here sometime mid/late July at the latest!

It looks like I might just have the Borla catback on for a while since the tips are either not arriving or coming a few months later lol!

I recall now my exhaust fitter did say the Borla does come up short on the stock tips , so you will need those Aliexpress tips.

I will try to order tips to reduce drone but make sure I get them quickly. I do not want to make two trips to the muffler shop.

So on the 2022 the exhaust does not match up with the tips. I am wondering if I have an exhaust shop weld on 2 inch extension pieces so the pipes reach the end of the tips if that would help. The exhaust is super loud inside the car. I really wouldn’t call it drone, just loud. I dynamatted the battery area to quiet the exhaust down, didn’t do much.

Same issue with my 2020.

Looks like having fake exhaust tips and aftermarket exhausts aren't a good match for us.

Oh well.
