Enkei RPF1's installed with weight totals...

I get the square setup, I wanted too as well. I'm guessing you mean you don't like how 9.5 looks on the front cause the definitely fit.
9.5 inch wide rims fit in the front? Is that only with 18” diameter rims or would 19” 9.5 inch rims fit in the front as well? Honestly, I was surprised 8.5” rims fit in the front without any issues. 9.5” wide rims seems really wide for the front.

I think there would be huge poke out. That additional inch, plus the shorter offset would stick them out a bit.

yeah a 19 x 9.5 with a +25 offset will fit in the front bit it pokes a decent amount unless you stretch the tire. There's a thread in here about 255 square setup and hes running 19x9.5 square. Its just too much poke for me.
Yes I believe they would fit but the offset would have to be pretty short, around +25 I think. Which led to availability of the rim I wanted in Black. It was a bit of trade off.
I think I'm going to settle on 18x9+30 Cosmis XT-006R in bronze or gold. I think the bronze looks pretty good on the red cars. Should fit good all the way around and be enough traction for the JB4 on a 245 tire.

@Rynil2000 Here are the photos, I don't have the center caps on yet.
I saw the 12.0 still on your car from your last track outing. Looks like your days of running the 12.0 class are probably going to be over now unless you really pull back on the car’s tune. That will be tough to be caught in the middle of no mans land in-between the 11.0 and 12.0 classes. Still super cool to be running great times with the setup you have now.

@AWDGT2 I dont see it posted, did you go with the 40 or 30 offest?

@Travis Wills I did pull out boost and only ran Map2 with no Meth to get where I wouldn't bust 12.0. Dragy the day before had me at 12.05 and 12.07 so I felt comfortable there. Rooky mistake at the track that day though I'll tell you about in person, LOL
@EClapp3 Sorry, they are +30 on all 4

I just had the Enkei RPF1's mounted and balanced with new Mich. Pilot Sport 255-40-ZR18 all the way around. I took detailed weights of each rim and tire before and after mounting. Details below...

Enkei RPF1 wheels: 8.5"x18 = 18.6lbs per or 74.4lbs total
Michelin Pilot sport 4s tires: 255-40-ZR18 25.2lbs per or 100.8lbs total
---------------
175.2lbs New Rotational weight
Stock 8.5x19 wheels: 33.2lbs or 66.4lbs total
Stock 8.0x19 wheels: 32.4lbs or 64.8lbs total
Michelin Pilot sport 4 tires 25.0lbs or 100lbs total (Used and a bit worn they were 23lbs ish)
--------------
231.3lbs Old Rotational weight
That equals a total of -56lbs of rotational weight the AWD has to turn. Some estimates have that equivalent to over 200lbs!
Are you still happy with this wheel/tire setup or is there some changes you would make in hindsight?

Absolutely happy, I wouldn't change a single thing... My rears are showing just a smidge of wear, so I'll probably rotate wheels this month.

Thanks for being the guinea pig on this one AWDGT2.

Decided to try this set-up myself ( except I'm RWD and a cheaper rubber option ).

Enkei 8.5x18 is the sweet spot, for sure. We have TFRs on both our Stinger and G70. 255/40R18 for road riding. 245/40R18 for dedicated track set, though I might try 245/35 or 255/35 next.MSR Cresson 1.webp

I will admit I just switched over to my winter tires/wheels which are 18x8 wheels from my summer 19" set and man what a difference in agility and ride quality. I'm really tempted to get a summer set of 18's with a nice fat set of sticky tires, I think thats the sweet spot for street performance and comfort.

Latest acquisition. 18x8.5 ET40, local seller. Wasn't too sure about the gold color at first, but the deal was too good to pass up. Trial fitted on Stinger front, and against the Snow White Pearl, it wasn't as loud as I had thought. Rim just cleared the coilover, but for sure tire won't. 5mm hub centric spacer should correct that within 1mm of stock scrub radius, which is what we do with our TFR 18x8.5 ET38.

On the rear should be spot on as is.

Have not decided what tires to put on. Maybe some gummy 255/35R18 for dedicated track set.

Enkei isn't kidding with RPF1 standing for Replica Formula 1... for not being a fully forged wheel, this thing is light!

Hmm. I got rpf-1s in 18x8.5 etc 35, iirc. Wouldn't clear front calipers. Even with 3mm spacer. Had to get ty-5s for the front. So much for my plans to rotate my track tires..

Im3 not sure what a rpf-1s is but my rfp1's fit perfectly on all for corners. Are you lowered?

I just checked the specs. I got 18x9 et 35. With idea of running 245 square, but being able to run 275 in the rear if necessary. Won't clear the calipers. Not lowered, just sways.

I remember the thread you posted about your RPF1s not clearing Brembos, which is why I trial fitted one on the front, before I committing to buying them.

If yours are 18x9 ET35, I can see them not clearing the front Brembos. Judging by my 18x8.5 ET40 clearing the front Brembo - at the tightest spot - by about 5-6mm, the same wheel in 18x9 ET35 would have trouble clearing without spacer.

Mine also cleared the coilover. Tires, though, might not, depending on the width. 225 and 235 should. 245 and 255... probably not.

With 5mm hubcentric spacer added, tire fitment should be no problem. For the front, I would want to do that anyway, to make effective offset 35mm.

Nonstop heavy rain this past week finally stopped, so I popped these on over the weekend to test them for a while before next weekend's two-day AutoX. These tires are stiff and noisy - turn in sharp and corner excellently but I wouldn't want to daily on them.

Wheel barrel just large enough to fit over the Brembos, with barely a few mm's to spare. Just the way I like 'em.
