End of my Stinger GT2 Chapter

Oh the inferiority complexes are working in overdrive here. The guy got a Porsche, everyone knows its a significantly better, more attractive and more desired car. It also costs alot more. It is what it is, enjoy.

I wouldnt say significantly better or more attractive. More desired - Definitely.

Porsche or chevy, I'd pick Porsche all day.

I can agree on this, if it was these two I would go with the Porsche. If I had $102K to spend on a vehicle I would get a G80 Sport and swap the turbos and put the rest in the bank. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

"Bye" isn't what I would consider to be having a discussion. Then again, what should we expect from someone with the temperament of a 6 year old?

More desired - Definitely.

I know I've mentioned it a time or 10 but the most desired car for me would be a RS7. If I'm gonna buy a $110k Volkswagen I'm going with Audi over Porsche

Cool story.

Bye.

I think Porsche makes fantastic cars , pretty much every vehicle in their line up is stellar , my dream car might be a 911 Targa 4 GTS ( if practicality and more garage space were not issues )

maybe one day he'll post a pic of his car and tell us which dealer he bought it at ......................if you know what I mean :whistle::whistle::whistle:

Jeez, you guys and the never-ending insults. Porsche vs Z06. I'd probably take the Z06 as well. But Porsche certainly has its place. A friend of mine owns a high-end body shop. There are always Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Rolls Royces, Bentleys, and... Porsches... It's a high-end brand and I doubt it would remain that way if it wasn't worth the money to people smart enough to have earned the ability to own them...

I think they have 2+2 seating unless you specifically order a seat delete (not positive).

But they aren't exactly usable seats.

Another comparison, since I'm trolling Chevys website: A fully loaded 3lt Z06 is wayyy faster than this Porsche and still costs $20k less. I just never understood people's reasoning for shopping Porsche.

Difference being that Porsche designs and makes cars for DRIVING!. Unlike a Z06 or a Nissan GT-R, Porsches don't need upgraded brake pads; upgraded brake discs; upgraded suspension components; upgraded engine oil coolers; upgraded transmission coolers; upgraded differential coolers; etc...etc....etc to be driven on the track. Right off the showroom floor, to the track and driven all day without a hiccup, sneeze, burp, or cough. THEY JUST GO!

You want the wind whipping through your hair...

I don't even open my creaking sunroof.:laugh:

I don't know anything about GT-Rs but the cars Chevy runs on the Nurburgring are factory spec'd. I've owned a Z06 and had no issues with it performing. I've never heard of someone needing that list of mods to get it to carve canyons. Maybe you're talking 2001ish vs 2018 Z06?

A friend has one in the most gorgeous Blue , the exhaust note is .............Horny !! and the roof removal is so slick , rear hatch opens backwards and the roof slips up and out mechanically then slides into its place then the hatch seals it up . All with a push of a button , very cool !

They have a really cool cement looking gray color too. Kinda like the Toyota TRD Pro color on the trucks and 4runners.

Imagine the squeaks from that roof though, lol.

With the exception of a convertible Porsche 356, I have never desired a Porsche. If I was given one (other than the aforementioned 356)` I would instantly sell it. They dont look particularly good, and for the money one needs to spend on them there are much better looking cars out there.

Not only that, every person I have known that owns one, which admittedly is a small list, is a straight up tool.

I would still be the nice wonderful person I am :p:laugh:
