Natural light is always better.

If you want to be really "fancy" use a lamp with some kind of thin fabric (white pillowcase) to diffuse the light. That'll give it enough brightness to not be under exposed, eliminate any shadows, and remove the over exposed spots from the flash.

...or take pics outside on a slightly cloudy day.

These look pretty good. I've been thinking of doing a bit of re-badge with some of these overlays. Frankly, I'm torn between the classic "K" and the "E" badges. I generally like the look of the K a little better but, man, that's awfully close to the Lexus badge. You guys who have re-badged with the K - do you ever get any smart Alec comments like "what, trying to be a Lexus?", or some such. Thoughts on preferences?

Not the best photos, but I did the wheels and front emblem. Easy to install. Only did it a couple weeks ago, though. So far, haven't lost any. They do stick up on the wheels more, but the front badge is pretty seamless.

Obviously I also repurposed the back Stinger logo too...
