I'm more seriously looking into suspension for my 3.3 RWD, but it seems that when I go to the Eibach site they are sold out of the springs by themselves and the pro kit. What gives?

I also talked to my KIA service guy about installation price and he said I could get them through them (using Stinger Haus, of course), but it would be $1100 with install! He kept saying the springs were 3 coils and the suspension isn't as easy on these things as I might think. In any event, really??!! Does that sound right??

I heard the Eibachs are for the AWD version.
(the spring rate is different due to the heavier front)

I had seen the same, but then I saw somewhere that putting it on the RWD...it just wouldn't lower it as much. I dunno.

I confirmed with Eibach two weeks ago that the springs are for both AWD and RWD. They should be updating their site soon.

As for the springs being in stock, Eibach told me they should have more in around the end of the month.

$1100 for springs and install is high but about what I would expect from a dealer.

I dont get how these springs are for both.
The front is heavier in the AWD model so the ride(?) height should be different (a bit higher on the RWD model).

It might have been you who I saw that from.

End of the month would be nice!

I'm sure its a dealer tactic, to make things sound harder then they are...but I should be able to get a reputable shop to do it for cheaper right? Is it really that amazingly hard or different than any other car?

Has anyone actually put springs on. Looking for feedback before I do it. Worrying about to hard or to soft. You think they would be same tension just shorter.

Yes the height will be different, they said RWD will be a .8” drop where AWD is 1.2” or 1.4” I can’t remember. I’m going to verify the drop when I have mine installed next week.

Yes, a local shop should be able to do it for less. From what I’ve seen having the wheels off and seen from others posts it’s no harder than any other car.

I checked with where I got my springs but they are out of stock too.

Yeah there are a few threads with people who have installed the springs. Feedback has mainly been very similar ride comfrort but reduced body roll and better control through corners.

@DaJackson ... exactly what I wanted to hear!! Please let me know how it turns out... all I care about is making the ride "tighter".

Mine just arrived. Contact @ImportSharkMike for the best price on the net. Might try to install myself with the help of a friend. Will keep everyone posted. Thanks again Mike!

Please let us know. Actually, if you could do a thread on your self install that would be awesome. I’m thinking of doing my own install when I buy mine and I’m interested to see how difficult it’s going to be. A thread with photo documentation of the process would be amazing.

Tire rack has them. Mine on the way

pics of lowered stingers, interested in product for sure

Go to tirerack.com . They sale eibach springs . I will be getting mine on May 2

Unfortunately I got called into work during the beginning of the install process smh. Wasn't able to get any pics or vids. But the drop actually looks very nice and definitely noticeable. Here's a quick before and after picture of the rear tire. I tried to tell my friend to take a bunch of pics in my absence but that didn't exactly happen either...Sorry guys. And those are 18" wheels fyi. [Awd]

Great job, looks good.

Any feedback/issues with your active suspension? Any good or bad things to report?

Agree! looks good. did you get the alignment after the spring? that's what concerns me too.
