• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

I've had some discussions with the importer in Sydney and posed the question of a discount for forum members or a group buy. They are happy to come to the party with a discount on both sets if we can put together say 6 orders.
Sway sets...Currently there are none in Australia but an order is likely to go in next week with delivery some 6 weeks later. Discounted price for forum members would be $550 (usual $628) with delivery of no more than $30 to anywhere in Aus. For those that might want a set earlier they can be air freighted at any time for $120 but the cost would significantly reduce if a group order of say 4 was placed.
Springs...Are available right now at $368 plus up to $30 delivery. Will lower car by 20mm. 24 sets for Stinger have already been sold.

I'll start the ball rolling by saying i'm in for a set of sways.

Post your interest here and let's see what we can do.

Now you do this....
Where where you 2 months ago? Lol

As myself and StingerGTSS have them front and back i can thoroughly recommend the purchase you wont regret it. Set them on soft setting tho.

@ShannonC . Put my name down as a definite. Maybe we should ask @Hemz , @OliverNuther ,@Coast GT ?

I’ll be in if delivery to Brisbane isn’t a problem. I’ve got a feeling they tried something similar in the States last year and it fell over because the profit margin in Eibach products is too small to sustain any serious discounting. But if it’s feasible, yeah I’m in.

It looks like a $78 saving. Freight will be a deciding factor for you Ollie?

I believe no problem to Bris Vegas. Quoted up to $30 was anywhere in Aus.

Nah, so long as it works out about the same as buying locally I’m in. I haven’t priced them locally so I don’t know what’s they go for anyway but if we can get them quicker in a bulk order a few bucks either way doesn’t bother me.

$628 was also what i was quoted. So $550 is an awesome deal.

Oops I’ve just read the start of this thread. Don’t know how I missed the first few posts (yeah I do) Sorry guys for being obtuse re: freight costs. I’m probably a player for sways only but I do like the like the look of lowered Stingers. What does everyone think about springs. I used to bottom out everywhere in my SS and it wasn’t even lowered. I’m enjoying not smashing my spoiler into parking stops in car parks

Ive got the springs and they lowered the car more than i expected especially the back. General consensus around the traps ive heard is sways first then springs.

Yep, I’ve heard the same. How are you going with speed bumps, angled driveways, car parks etc? Is the lowering causing you to scrape the front?

Not really, ive only had a problem with a full tank of fuel + luggage or kids + fuel . Very rarely and that was my fault for using an uneven gravel goat track. Would i do eibach springs again, hell yes.

Thanks mate good to know. 99% of the time it’s just me in the car so I might reconsider the springs also. I do like the look.
