Dajackson, your ride is one of the sweetest lookin ones i ever seen.
@DaJackson now that you’ve been driving it awhile since install, how much has it settled(springs)? Any lower? How’s the drive? Still good?
@DaJackson looking forward to seeing how much more it settled and where (front back or both) given the cars weight distribution
So looks like it could settle some more, maybe even close to the 1.4/1.2 advertised for the awd... not too bad, about expected I would think
Just curious any increased noise, or clunks from bars or springs? How about interior - does stiffer suspension result in more interior rattles or creaks? Just asking as I spend a lot of time in the car. I have both springs and bars but haven’t installed yet.
Yo: your review states the rear sway can be removed from the sides which is great news since I plan on doing just swaybars so that the ride stays a little more comfortable for passengers.
But you didn't state if the front comes off the same. From what I could surmise, it seems like it would be best to remove the air deflector entirely and just drop down instead of going out the side. I could be wrong, though, as I haven't actually tried anything, yet.
Let me know, thanks!
Sorry I wasn’t at the shop when they took out the front, just the rear. Also the instructions for the rear are specific to the car and say to take it out the side, the instructions for the front are generic and basically say unbolt it and out the new one in.
I think the front can also come out the side or from the bottom but I don’t know that for a fact. The shop didn’t mention anything difficult about the front.
The front looks like it drops straight drop from my memory last time I was under the car
Do the sway bars alter the oversteer/understeer characteristics of the car?
Also do you have spacers?
My concern is bottoming out on speed bumps or big declines and a stiffer ride. Thoughts?
