Downpipes vs. Full Exhaust

Ok 1 more question. I just want get off of the gt exaust. When cruising on hyway was drone much louder than road noise? With radio on low and talking to passengers would the exaust be heard or annoying. I am concerned with wife on longer drives. I just think the note is a little better than evc open. So confused. Thanks Rob
I found the ark annoying on longer highway drives. Might be able to tolerate with loud music but with wife in car i wouldn't recommend. I kept mine but put on quieter mufflers and some sound deadening.
 
Doesn't seem like many of yall know how to get tid of drone. Look up j-pipe resonator and do the math
 
This may have been covered already but in terms of power what’s the difference between getting just down pipes vs a cat back? I have a lozic ecu tune with crackle and pops

Helmholtz resonators have been discussed ad nauseam here. They do little for drone on Stingers. Many have tried. None have been 100% successful.

The only thing that (supposedly) works is extending the tips to the outside of the bumper so the sound/vibrations aren't resonating through the hatch.
