Does upgraded FMIC cause turbo lag in the Stinger GT?

Yes, RWD with no LSD (Limited Slip Differential). Have not dyno'd her with the throttle body / tuning changes. Still contemplating doing some other things before I bear the expense.

No videos, wish I had some. Had several people tell me how good the car sounds at a distance, so I'm curious to hear that for myself, but not curious enough to let someone else drive it

Found my slip from the 10.987 run (left) against a Genesis Coupe (right). Mods above, JB4 Map8 (modified, by me), no interior, 100 Octane race gas (2 gallons), full Methanol flow (single size 10 nozzle).

An official informed me after the run I needed fire gear / roll cage if the car is running sub 11's (NHRA rules apparently?) so that was my first and last run of the evening. Didn't think that would be a concern as I did not intend on breaking 11s. Seem to recall it being rather windy that day, perhaps that helped push things along... or the track timer wasn't calibrated correctly *shrug*.

I do have a Dragy that's not been set up yet, will have to do that, take the interior out again, find some empty road, and see how the numbers compare.

Holy shit. I figured this was at least a couple of years away and wouldn't happen on stock turbos. And on an open diff. And with no ECU tune, just a JB4 and a lot of bolt-ons. A part of me is curious about what you'd run if you kept the interior in the car. But barring that, again.. Holy shit.

Wow Nice run those seats must weight about 600 pounds or so. When you get a chance to go to the track again. Have someone take a video of your runs and share those here if you get the opportunity. Do you plan on going to the track again?

Hes got 285 Nittos on the back. Anyhow now its video or it didnt happen? Just curious like to get this out of the way before the track opens. Everyone's screaming wheres the slip. He gave you the slip and now you want video. Next it will be a sworn affidavit from next of kin. You dont have the same mods or do you? Because your time is a little suspect as well. Not that you didnt run it but your mod list is a little light. Maybe you forgot something? Meth? And as for your maybe he was in the other lane theory. The other lane on his slip ran considerably slower. Hes on the list. Right above you.

98% of the runs in the 1/4 mile and 0-60 threads could have easily been faked, including yours. Up until now you've gone with the honor system. Now you decide to move the goal post by placing new stipulations on any dragy or track run that has a faster time than yours?

If you leave him off the list you've lost all impartiality and you might as well just trash the whole thing or at the very least remove your name from it as well.

Don’t waste your time arguing. Remember he owns a JB4 LOL, he can go 1 second faster by just removing the 700 pound rear seat and 200 pound passenger seat . He has a JB4 so anything is possible. If he didn’t then the time wouldn’t be possible. Remember if it was Lap 3 or Tork tune then there is defenetely something fishy going on. For what it’s worth I have his same mods minus the meth and throttle body. I have 295 on the back and 255 up front now. I didn’t remove the 700 pound rear seat and the 200 pound passenger seat when I did my runs. I will next time I do my runs this summer. @Tonkabob @STINGER @Crewdawg130 @TorkMe I know when you guys hit the the track you will have the correct slip for your car and videos of the stinger runs. I know your phones won’t magically stop recording or footage would be lost that day.

When I hit the track here in the next month or so, I will have a 10 second slip as well and I don’t want any of the JB4 fan boys or anyone else disputing my slip. End of story! Do we really have this many delusional fruit balls on this forum? Jesus lord almighty bless them!!

Just a disclaimer there might not be no footage of the 10 second run of my Stinger, but the slip will be for the stinger.

You just lost all credibility and NOBODY has those mods. Dont make me go over them with you they are right there in black and white. He has several that nobody has then theres the considerable weight savings, the Arizona dry atmosphere, the fact he ran at night, the jb4 modification etc. Your a sore loser Tim. It's a shame.
