Does the Ascot Green look better in different lighting, or with a better wax?

The ceramic silver also looks 'muddy' at times. I think cloudy days bring out the worst in these colors.
Seconded.

The orange peel in the paint is a contributor but also the metallic flake is too subtle and on anything other than direct sunlight it seems to actually lend a dimming or darkening effect. In fact I did not even realize it was a metallic color until a few days after I took delivery.

Buffing the orange peel helps but I left most of the clear on buffing out only the major swirl marks to allow for a thorough buffing after three years when I will need to reapply ceramic.

One of those is probably mine.

Personally, I think it pops enough.

Next to all the shrubbery it kinda looks more blue than green. Light and camera settings (along with monitor settings) really play with this color.

Thank you! Yes, they are the reflector LED on the GT1. I have no issues with how they light up the road. To be honest I think they do a better job than the projector LEDs I had with my 2018 GT. Backup lights are not LED from the factory, still, but I just swapped them out.
Hi - does the 2022 GT1 come with rear LED turn signals? I know the front turn signals are LED.

I feel like this colour would look REALLY good on a nice set of gloss black wheels, even the Scorpion edition black wheels.

What's really odd is that the color never (regardless of light/weather) looks anything like the Kia website, catalog, or 'stock pics' on dealer listings...

It's lucky to find any color. My local dealer hasn't had a new one in ages. They did have a used one last spring that was bought immediately.

There's a photo of one here with the stock wheels blacked out. Looks alright.

I still prefer lighter shades of green like Audi's Sonoma Green:

or Goodwood Green:

I've always had blue cars. Wrb and Still Of The Night Pearl on the Honda Accord 2.0t were my favorites. When I came around the corner at my dealership and saw the blue stinger, I was disappointed. To be fair it was kinda overcast. When I came around that same corner and saw the Ascott Green, I was sold.

Then there's this dodge green, they call it 'F8 Green'. I've seen it on their trucks too. Actually looks a lot like the Ascot Green shown in the Kia promo pics, nothing like the actual cars.
