Had this issue on previous cars so I took the axle nut off to let it move around in the hub some but then I couldn't get the top out of the fender and ended up just taking the whole hub and strut out.
Cost me 595 out the door for seal, fluids, nspection, and labor. Good shop.Shop localy (dealer had a half dozen tow ins so i went independent)
Has told me that best case about 700 bucks for labor and an axle seal.
Worst case 1700 for a new axle aswell.
Derp!!!
1 - looks damn good!Installed over the weekend. Saturday was front sunday the rear. This is a job for a lift! I was on the ground and no one told me car work in your 30's is painful. But got it done and the guide helped loads tooView attachment 79213View attachment 79212
What went wrong:
>Front is such a pain
>cv popped out and did not want to go back in for a bit
>the spring comprsors were moved many times
>Took maybe 4 1/2 hours of actual work 6 hr total
>recompress to install
>cv again....
>lining up the bolts for the rear lca is rather frustrating
>the rear has many tiny bolts
>maybe 3 hours work 4 hours total on the rear
the plus
Rear!!
Super easy.
Save it for last.
Still alot of steps but easy work.
Breaker bar recomended
Very few tools required.

There is no camber plates your only choice is coiloversIt has some worn out 245/35/19's on still.
Got 245/40/19's ready to be installed. That should close the gap on the fenders and give me that flush look i like.
Might need camber plates for the front and then aligned and im done with the lowering job. Total cost..... so far...
