@x4nd3r05 had issues with his car that he mentioned on 8/11. He attributed the issues to the
fuel wire harness.
I received the harnesses back from him and found no issues with the harnesses. Each wire and pin tested for continuity (i.e., there are no shorts). I then tested each wire against the others for anything that could potentially touch inside the connector, which was also successful and found no faults.
I then connected his harnesses in my car and could not replicate the issue described, which was the AFR was constant at 14.7 and threw a code P0000. Neither occurred during my test. I recorded video and sent it to
@x4nd3r05.
I then left his harnesses connected to my car for a week and drove roughly 300 miles with them connected with no issues.
I removed them this morning to return to him.
Moral of the story: Ensure the harnesses are fully connected and seated. They should not disconnect without pressing the tab. Sometimes the tab remains lifted, use a pik tool to press the tab over the
seat to ensure they don’t pull apart.
And probably the biggest takeaway, if you experience an issue and believe it to be related to the harness, just message me. I’ve now made 50+ of these things. If anyone knows how to troubleshoot them it’s me. There’s no need to fault the harness publicly for it to be determined that there’s no fault found. If there’s an issue, I’ll take care of it.
Once again, i'm not running a business. I'm a single individual, you can approach me as such. I typically don't bite.
