Hello Everyone!

I stumbled upon this site while looking into leasing a Stinger. I love the car and want one. I use to be a VW Touareg guy until it got totaled last year. I was on the ClubTouareg forum site all the time for everything. I also own and old Porsche 944.

My goal is to lease both a Stinger and Telluride, at the same time, is that crazy? So you'll hear how it goes. Thank you all in advance and I'm excited to be a part of your community.

It’s only crazy if you can’t afford it.

Welcome and I think it's a great idea! My wife wants even more space and is getting a Expedition MAX but that Telluride looks amazing

Its amazing the impact both of these cars are making , I really want the Telly but my wife insists it too big

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
We are leasing a Jetta right now which ends in September and we need to cars so the Kia offer for the two cars looks attractive, and we really liked how both drove, so I figured I would see what kind of deal I can get. My thought is if they know I'm interested in two cars I may get a better deal.

It's like the size of an explorer.....it's not Tahoe /standard expedition size

I agree , we have a 2016 Sorento which has been great , its totally functional tows well etc , but the Telly is 9" longer , wider and taller and it does drive like a bigger vehicle vs the Sorento , I'm waiting for the SXL top spec edition to arrive and will show her again , she wants an electric Soul or Tesla Model 3

I get the electric factor.....also "HAPPY WIFE, HAPPY LIFE! "

You'll need to give up your Stinga for the telly....sadface

I would lean towards trying to work out one deal at a time. Dealers are experts at squeezing out a few extra dollars here and there by trying to confuse you by shifting the numbers around from one part of the deal to another (one of the primary tool is the 4 square), that's why they love trade in's and financing so there's more places to shift numbers around in their favor. By trying to do two leases at once they know they have you on the hook for both so there is way more ways to make it look like one is a crazy good deal but the other is where they make it back.

Do the math before going in, knowing exactly where you want to be and find a dealer that will match your numbers.

no doubt the Stinger is the least rationale / practical of the options , but we need an SUV for functionality , and she needs/wants an efficient "city car" ....................from my personal experience with the Stinger I wont buy a 1st year Telly , they'll have a few bugs to work out .......................we will likely keep the Sorento another year then decide , who knows , by then maybe the Stinger will have worked its way out of my system

Compared to a Prius or model 3 , I don't feel it gives up anything other certain cost to own....but the uniqueness of the stinger being a practical but fun to drive car sets it apart from them .....SUVs are the flavor du jour but not everyone needs one.....things will work out !

I don't think there's an antidote for a Stinger bite but hey good luck getting it out of your system in a measly years time.

Not at all. I'd do it. I still might. No leasing, though, unless the incentive on a Telly is yooge. (My wife doesn't even know I'm thinking this way! )

The Telluride has less than 300 hp. That's pretty lame for such a large suv imo.
Should at least offer our 3.3 tt as an option. Maybe that will come later, but too
late for all the "be the first on your block" owners.

262 lb-ft of torque, 3.8L NA pulling up to 5K lbs, isn't a weak machine. I don't know what you'd want with turbos on a vehicle meant for off-road sport and utility.

I don't know exactly what percentage of suv owners go off-road, but I do know
it's a very small percentage. I just think the suv is the new trend, and people
like sitting high in their vehicles and have a lot of hp. Look at the new Lambo suv with around 6 or 700 hp.
How many owners of those do you think will take it off the blacktop - I'm guessing not many.
