Lambo SUV. Now that is a contrasting term! Of course nobody with a high end SUV is going to treat it like a midrange Jeep. The Telly is in competition with those, not a Lambo.

262 lb-ft of torque, 3.8L NA pulling up to 5K lbs, isn't a weak machine. I don't know what you'd want with turbos on a vehicle meant for off-road sport and utility.

I've driven the Telly , and I was surprised at the power . The HP , gearing and torque are extremely efficient at getting this big SUV going .All the SUVs I 've owned were V8s ( except the current Sorento ) and aside from that lovely sound of a V8 I wouldnt miss it in a Telly ...............I give Merlin 4 months before there's one in his garage

It was okay. His scoring method is cryptic and totally subjective, and unimpressive: a 50 out of 100? Really? That doesn't go along with his enthusiasm while looking the vehicle over.

The comments are copious and largely negative; largely based on Kia's earlier poor rep, and the commentator not being up to speed.
