Cquence Rotors

That's the girodisc not these. These weighed the same.
I think I misinterpreted Nick. He said the girodoscs had a 7lb decrease and then someone asked about these as well and he said “same.” I took that to mean they weighed the same as the girodiscs but on second thought I am pretty sure he meant they weigh the same as the OE rotors.

Hopefully we will get some feedback for these as far as being replacements for OEM rotors.

What do you mean? These are replacements for OEM rotors. We now have 3 options for rotors. OEM, Cquence and Girodisc

I mean feedback as far as seeing if these hold up over time and how they affect the vibration issue.

Ahhh, you may be waiting a while if you want to know if they will hold up over time. These where just released. I would go off of Cquence's track record of providing quality parts. These are a street tire and not a performance tire though. I can afford the Girodisc, so im waiting for Cquence to release the performance rotors.

I think you mean we have two options, no one's going to not install brake rotors at all whatsoever, lol

After having these on for a day or so I’m not sure they are better than OEM. I feel like the initial bite of the brakes is weaker. AKA I feel like I need more pedal pressure to get the same stopping power.

Replaced all for rotors, front pads with stop tech and reused the rear pads.

I assume you did a full bed in cycle?

Yeah. The mechanic did it before I picked it up. I’ve been braking easy on them since I picked up the car but even with 25% brake pedal they feel like I have less stopping power.

No mechanic has ever actually done them for me when they said. To do it right, it takes some decent time (like 10 minutes of coasting without braking in an empty parking lot between 2 subsets of 9-10 moderate/aggressive to 10 mph from 40 stops).

I had the same soft pedal feel on the stand after my “mechanic” did it for like 10 minutes on a test drive.

After I did a full cycle took 30-40 minutes, the rotors/pads were “magical”.

I have trust issues. With any mechanic other than me (and sometimes I don’t trust MYSELF either... the voices in my head lie)...

Understood, but I trust my mechanic. His fiancé has a stinger and this is his normal clientele.

If it continues I’ll try and bed them again this weekend.

There's no harm in repeating the procedure. That said, even before bedding, I would expect there to be an improvement. That's what I'm looking for.
