Cquence group buy!!

@NYdito mentioned in an earlier thread before about the difference in coating that would be shipped with the earlier GB, but it would look similar. At that time he asked if anyone had any concerns..........looks like you missed that.

Sounds like your pissed because you got a lower price than what was quoted?

@NYdito is just helping out and trying to arrange the GB and IMHO is getting grief unnecessarily.
Thanks man I put all this work to help out the community. Now I know who I should help out in future group buys and who to avoid.

I'm pretty new here and I want to get in on this group buy, but I seem to be blind as to where the DM option is @NYdito

I don't see the option for that. All I see is "Profile Page", "Follow", and "Ignore". Must be the restrictions set in place for new members
Likely as it should be right there. I believe the threshold is 10 posts. You can go and post in a couple more threads of interest and then you'll be good to go. I had the same issue to begin with when trying to post pictures and links.

First group buy street series
Second group buy Geomet coating street series
Third group buy premium sport series

No info on pads.
Thanks for the info. So the significant price difference is because it’s going from the entry level “Street series” in previous group buys to the top of the line “Premium sport series” in this current group buy?

Can the rotors be purchased without the front pads, if so what’s the total cost for just 4 rotors shipped to 33484?

Yes and you could just buy the rotors if you want. Shipping to Florida is around $95.

You guys do know you can buy direct from Cquence right...? The price for the group buy doesn't look like it's discounted to me but I purchased a different configuration; premium sport fronts and street/performance rears all with geomet finish and free shipping. I got a good price going direct and working with Houston, not going to say what I paid but I got a good deal.

Everyone keeps talking about Houston, how are you guys contacting Houston? The website shows them being in California. Also, their website doesn't show anything for vehicles newer than 2017. Does their contact email and phone number go to a Houston office?

My assumption is that Houston is a living breathing person and the contact at Cquence.
Perhaps working in California, perhaps not.

OH, it is name not a location. Okay. Thanks!

FYI- Cquence quoted $689.88 shipped for the set of 4 premium sport rotors and front stoptech street pads from them directly. Depending on GB shipping costs it saves up to $226 which is pretty significant imo.

They also said they have no other matching sets of rotors and these 5 may be the last of their stock for our Stingers.

Lol, Houston is a person I filled out the contact us form on their website (Contact Us | Cquence.net) and Houston emailed me back the next day his direct email is <houston@cquence.net>. They don't stock a lot of rotors for the Stinger, they pretty much make them to order from what I gathered.

I was just emailing with someone at Carbotech. They're interested in adding the Stinger to their lineup (I really liked their Bobcat pads for my daily-driver Legacy - better than Hawk HPS / Stoptech!). They were asking about dimensions, etc. He said they've received conflicting reports about exact pad shape / size.

I thought maybe someone here would be willing to donate their old OEM pads "to the cause"? I have a shipping address, and would even be willing to pay for shipping, if someone's willing to mail their pads to Carbotech for them to verify sizing, that would be great.

They're located in Concord, NC - perhaps someone would be interested in letting them test-fit?

I am having mine installed tomorrow and would be happy to donate them. You can PM me the details if you still need them.
