I'm surprised they're not extinct then?
We have the worst record in the world for mammal extinctions 30 to date. Whereas the US has 1 extinction. And we don't have guns. Won't we do have is somewhere between 2.5 & 10 million feral cats. Oh but please don't hurt them

The hunting tag system restricts how many animals can be hunted each (limited duration) season, and the number of tags available is limited and reassessed annually - not everyone who applies can get a tag, and not everyone who gets a tag gets an animal.

Myself, I'm a well fed carnivore, but I do my hunting in the meat aisle of the local supermarket. I don't have a problem with hunters who go through the legal application process, and make use of the meat - not too keen on the ones who just want a head on the wall.

World's largest dinosaur.

In Drumheller, Alberta, located in the Alberta Badlands and home of the Royal Tyrrell Palaeontology Museum. The little fella doubles as a walk-up observation platform (holds about 8-12 people in his mouth), and is about 4.5 times larger than an 'actual' T-Rex.

Rumor has it that Norway is building one that will be 1 foot taller, if you count the TV antenna on it's head.

I stumbled upon this yesterday not a Country town big thing in fact not that far from Sydney city. It is Freshwater beach at Harbord. One of the many beaches.
Here a top a head land is a formation of mosaic inlaid stone discs honouring Australian world champion surfers both Male and female.

The crowning piece is a bronze statue of the "Father" of surfing an Hawaiian legend:
