The difficulty seems to be very high ...
It is likely to match the aluminum console cover ...
The charger cover is aluminum.

Wiring is difficult but ...
It is interlocked with the instrument panel trip ...
There are many installations in Korea.
I can not find the installation guide .. :(

That is an insane amount of trouble and expense for a wireless charger. Sorry, I just don't get it.

It doesn't look that bad, a few plugs - the difficult part will be prying off the old console. Seeing how these parts are being offered separately in Korea, one has to wonder WHY all the variations across the various regions. If you're going to offer a "fully loaded" option, make sure it's fully loaded. Fortunately the only 'significant' thing missing from the CDN top of the line is the cup holder lid which can be added.

These parts are most likely just OEM resellers who source the parts from Kia/its manufacturers. Nothing about it being "offered" anywhere.

Of course they're OEM and being supplied by OEM sellers in Korea. Without these OEM sellers, none of us would have E badges, lid covers, etc. I don't need this, already got wireless charging in my car.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
just watched a video online and the gentleman removed the console to replace it with the closed cover one. all it is are clips, as long as you go slow, you won't have a problem.

duh, just realized that the same gentleman in the youtube video is a member on this forum. see, the mrs always said i was cute, but dumb.

Very interested here. Any pricing on this yet. I hope it doesn't take a month to get here like my emblems did.

If i could source one, I'd be all up for doing it! Can't be any worse then these dang puddle lights were.

Sales are possible ...
For Korean Owners
Most of them use tuning shops or auto repair shops ...
So you can not get installation guide ...
So I hesitate to sell ...

I've got the expanded center console sheet and It doesn't seem like it would be something past my capabilities, but I can understand being hesitant about selling something that may be a hassle for someone less inclined or capable, especially with no documentation.

I guess for me the only limiting factor would be the cost of the module itself.

Maybe talk to our very own videomaker :P who alread did that:
.. it's close to then do your bit. It doesn't look that complicated with the cables ... two cables with impossible to confuse connectors?

The thing I'd wonder more is, wether these connections are present in your cable tree already in a car that didn't come with Qi.

Understand your point, but like @Killa200 said it doesn't look past my capabilities either. I will also be more than happy to provide a "How to" guide with photos (did it for the reverse light conversion to LED LINK) for all those interested in changing the part.

I understand that, but when you mention something like "offered," it sounds like Kia is supplying resellers with parts expecting people to buy them. Everyone is just sourcing parts as demand sees fit, it's not being "offered."

Just for some heads up guys, forum member here ordered wireless charging console from me and will try to install it in his car to see how it fits and if everything works as it should. As jongkihong mentioned it's popular modification in Korea but we have to see if this will work on US spec stingers or not. He will post a DIY so we will finally know if it works or not and how difficult the install is. He is willing to risk some money and effort for all of us. Will keep you updated on the matter and I'm sure he will post to.

Didn't know you were selling them as well. I looked on your website and couldn't find it. I am interested on this, mind pointing me in the right direction?

This ones going to be a bit more complicated than most of the Korean swap out parts. So far physically (don't have the part in hand yet, TuscaniCustoms is waiting for delivery and inspection of it before passing it on to me) it looks like it will fit fine, minus some thoughts about the slide out door that we may have to address.

However electrically the wireless module actually talks to the integrated body module in the car via CANBUS, actively. There is a monitor between the two and there are also in dash warnings and action functions that are expected to happen when doing things like opening the doors of the car and using the keyfob due to the frequency the wireless charge unit uses. This is the part we aren't sure will work in the US version of the Stinger, because there is no guarantee the body module was ever programmed for it.
