Well this is great news, now we know that the part actually fits without any modification. Now, do you have a link to the wiring schematics?

It has wiring diagram and pin wiring diagram.
But I'm not an engineer.
I can not confirm it correctly.
I have a little more confirmation ...
The wireless charger does not require additional machining ... (1: 1 Replacement)
But I do not know if I need to change the wiring.
 
That's definitely along the lines of what I was expecting to install the wireless charge module. Now all we have to do is see if the programming is even in the BCM to handle it's operation. The NA car pinout matches up and supposedly has the canbus wiring in place.

Well considering our current setup has a dedicated usb port for charging, I think the BCM is enabeled to accept the wireless charger.
 
The wireless charger essentially takes place of the fast charge usb port we have now, which is voltage only wiring. The unit doesn't use the control USB for the deck as that remains, it uses a currently unused canbus + and - wire. The concern is the actual logic may not be present in the BCM either since the option isn't available here.

Good point. If it is anything like on my M37 the option/logic is simply disabled, but once the device is recognized it will be activated as an option, as it's very unlikely for a manufacturer to create different versions of the software, unless the vehicle it is going to a very restrictive (emissions wise) region. Also the fact that Canada has the option of wireless charging also makes things more optimistic.

That's my saving hope, as we should be sharing modules between each other. My bet is the same as yours, the programming is there but not being called upon because there is no module calling those canbus options.

OOO does this mean it might be possible to change out my console with the wireless charging one? I have the limited gt. I'd be interested in getting it depending on the cost.

Oh I was assuming the entire console was one thing (including cup holders etc) nonetheless still interested I need that wireless charger haha. Keep me informed! :)
