Continued Rotor Issues

Really sorry to hear about all of the rotor/pad issues on your stingers! I have a ‘19 GT RWD with 73,000 miles (Drive A Lot) in both city and highway, and have not experienced any of the vibration issues discussed. I did just replace the OEM rotors and pads that had work down and needed replaced. I should say the pads had worn down, but the rotors were still in good shape. I decided on slotted rotors, so went with EBC rotors and EBC Yellow Stuff pads all around. (Khartunerz). The difference is significantly better and worth the investment. It’s not a cheap replacement at about $1,500, but I do have more braking confidence, and it’s cheaper than an accident! I drive in the DC/Baltimore area where crazy things are always happening, so the extra braking confidence is really important to me!

I had them do the warranty repairs and took my own pads to the dealer. That way I got new rotors & pads and could start the bedding process fresh with virgin parts. 4k km later, all is (still) well (knock on wood). Good luck with yours. :)
Have you had the issue come back at all

Can anyone recommend good aftermarket rotors ? I tried using stop tech pads on brand new stock rotors and get to go back to stock pads because the squealing drove me insane.

Im tired of having to constantly replace the rotors because of this vibration issue though.

I'd advise you to get different pads, ones that won't squeal. The rotors with the Stinger are fine for most owners, and as you're hopefully already aware and discussed at length in another thread on the forum, not the cause of vibration for most people experiencing it. Different rotors and same stop tech pads will likely result in the same squealing, since the squealing issue is likely the pads.

I use Stop Tech, and yes, they do tend to squeal, but I would rather have that than the vibrations.

I have Stop tech too and the squealing doesn’t bother me. Hey at least pedestrians know that I’m coming lol.

My rotors were replaced bi KIA under warranty, the (new) rear pads are OEM, the front pads supplied by me are Hawks 5.0. Braking continues to be smooth. As it was said before, it's a matter of (front?) pads. Good luck with your choices.

Hey not sure if this helps but I went to K8 and tried getting Stoptech pads all around. They were out of stock but the owner contacted me and told me about pads they make in house for the stinger. Got them and replaced all 4 brakes and the 2 front rotors (which were warped/had deposits at the time). Haven’t had the issue since. For context, I drive pretty aggressively but haven’t tracked or dragged the car.
