Check this out!!! (ECS control module)

I'm about to have one in the mail!

The only item left for discussion is if it does not work with US Spec Stingers...

Me too brother!
My source is KDMHolic and they are checking on the same issue for me.

I already know it will work though. All of the Stingers share a common ECS module. I have tried all of the country/regions ECS settings in our stock Module and they are all close enough that the tuner can be used with no problem. The only Stinger ECS setting that seemed blatantly mismatched with the American Stinger mechanical strut/spring combo was the Australian RWD GT. Trying those settings on my USA Stinger resulted in a hard and nervous ride, especially in sport mode. But then again Australian reviews also say that car is a bit rough and jittery in Sport mode.

In any event Euro, China, Russia, General, North American Stinger ECS settings all work just fine.

The tuning box doesn’t account for RWD or AWD suspension differences. They both use the same tuner. So, that tells me that the different damping profile of the physical shocks aren’t a problem for the tuner. Because the actual shocks are mechanically different in valving between AWD and a RWD models.

That being said, realize that the preconfigured Sport and Comfort mode I the App are going to be optimized for the Korean springs/roll/bars/and shocks. Ours is close so it will work fine. And the apps custom settings will allow us to tailor the results to your own particular market on your own, if desired.

Did a little more research and found some interesting info.
The App lets you firm or soften both Ride and Handling.

The “Ride” settings effect the car in a straight line.
The “Handling” settings in the app adjust the cars firmness or softness when there is steering input
or G forces.

Wow, that is like having a "virtual anti-roll bar." Now I really can't wait to read the reviews from people who delve into the workings of this.

Amazing post man. Thank you for confirming. I plan on meeting with them at SEMA this year. I will hopefully have the box installed long before. They are going to send me a pp invoice and I'll pay them up

The feedback from first users is very positive here.
Hopefully you guys will like it too. :)

Had I not spent 3000 bucks on coilovers I would have jumped in the wagon for sure. :D A friend drove me around with his car having the module installed and it feels quite different from stock while still being comfortable.

A video explaining our suspension system.

Man, this is good news! I’m all for adding the module to get all the benefits of this system, without changing shocks or sway bar. If this provides ride quality like the G70, i’m in for one!

Yes, love the idea of having those adaptive shocks covering an expanded operating range through user defined tuning, instead of bolting on static aftermarket 'adjustments' like sway bars. Shortly after buying the car, my suspension defaulted to 'full firm' when the ECS temporarily conked out following a battery discharge, and the harsh and jarring ride made it immediately apparent that there was a lot of capability left in those shocks that wasn't being tapped.

Very, very interested to hear some reviews. I like that that handling and ride can be independently adjusted, and am keen to hear how this solution works out in real life, dynamic driving conditions. Also will be interesting to see if the infamous mid-corner waggle can be dialed out, without greatly affecting overall ride quality.

For roughly the price of sway bars alone, this so far is sounding like a very attractive, dynamically controlled, alternative.

I concur. I know my 2019 rides better than the 2018 and as i’m unable to see any part difference on the OEM site, it might just be a change in how they tuned the shocks. Having the option to make it ride and handle better by tweaking the software, is well worth it for me. I’ve been impressed with the way the G70 drives and handles while having similar wheel gap, so having the Stinger be able to do the same, is a win-win for me. Keeping my eye on this one.

So ... no modules that are compatable with the 2018 Stinger models?

Rango, go to the link and in the middle of the web page you will see the compatibility chart. There you will find the 2018 Stinger models.

Hey guys. I just purchased. Is there a link to the installation?

I also noticed that under the custom settings in the app, when you adjust ride handling there is a bar that slides at the bottom left and right. Is it to adjust the speed reaction of the shock at any given speed?
