Like the title says I'm looking for cheap or better yet free stinger mods that everyone has done. Everyone is pinching pennies now so I thought this could give people ideas. And please don't say cleaning the car I'm already doing that every day.

Geez Merlin , why stop there ? .............................stickers.webp ......................you go boy !! Bawaaaaa:whistle::whistle::laugh::laugh::laugh::p:p

What material did you use?
From Michael's craft store I got a sheet of peel and stick on black vinyl. "Stinger" is simply printed from this: Dropbox - stinger sunshade.png - Simplify your life If you print it from Paint, you have to set the size to 75% (even though the file, opened in a picture viewer app, shows the right size, it prints too big if you do it 100% size). Rubber cement each script to the vinyl, cut to match the yellow airbag warning labels. Then use Scotch Multi-Task tape over the script strip. :D Isopropyl alcohol to clean the yellow warning label. Nothing has lifted or moved in a year and a half. (put them on upside down, so they'll be seen right side up when the sunshade is flipped down)

I bought some OEM all weather rubber floor mats front and rear, plus an all weather rubber cargo mat. Stinger is printed them as they are OEM. Total was about $220. Look for "delandkia2322" (seller) on eBay. Much cheaper than WeatherTech and good quality.

Ok so I think I'm going to try merlins airbag delete, dipping the rims, and I'm debating painting the tips.

I'm working with my neighbor rite now who has a vynal printing machine on a stinger label to cover those hideous things. So far we have a glossy black one that I was not a fan of but will put on a coffee mug and we are working on a matte black one. I will share picks soon if anyone is interested.

Absolutely! If you can come up with a printed "Stinger" (airbag) delete label I'd replace mine with spiffier looking ones immediately. (I'm so low tech it's ridiculous.)
