Cheap or Free stinger mods?

Absolutely! If you can come up with a printed "Stinger" (airbag) delete label I'd replace mine with spiffier looking ones immediately. (I'm so low tech it's ridiculous.)
I'll keep you posted

Cardboard, small wire cutters, flathead, stainless black coated gutter mesh ($3.69)

Nice simple inexpensive insurance policy:

they work , mine are a finer mesh but either way they save rock chips !

Unfortunately I couldn't find anything finer at Home Depot or Loews but on the plus side if I do want to replace or remove them it's so ridiculously simple :).

I did those too. Baught some mesh off amazon but it was silver. Cut it out and spray painted it black. Works great. It looks like you did a good job.

Mission accomplished. My neighbor did a good job making these. First attempt we used a glossy black that came out looking good for a mug or something but not in the car. Second time around we used a matte black vinyl with a glossy white vinyl. They are the perfect size to cover the ugly yellow sticker. She places the white stinger symbol on the black vinyl by hand which as you can imagine is hard so there are minor differences in them but they look very good. I'm interested in the technical question of how "she" created separate, trimmed lettering to stick to the black.

I'm going to have to try this! My wife has this wonderful tool called a Cricut that cuts quite intricate designs in paper and vinyl. I have Ceramic Silver with the red interior so I am thinking red lettering on grey background.

from the best I can tell you stick a sheet of vinyl in and after programming the computer the machine cuts the vinyl to the design you programed. She then peals that one and sticks it on the other.

While I had the bumper off today I cut and relocated the unsightly air temp sensor down by the intercooler in the lower grille.

I dremmelled the mount off then painted the exposed metal and routed the air temp sensor over to a nearby hole hidden away from view.

Pretty happy with the way the airbag warning delete mod turned out.

Another inexpensive upgrade is from @Rakker. Has some snorkels to funnel air to the intake at a fraction of the price of the name brands. Already ordered mine! A pic from one of his posts:

What???? How much

I don’t imagine his price changed in the last couple of days, but it’s $115 shipped and you can choose the color of the nozzle. There is a thread about it too. Heard nothing but great things, excited to get mine

Thanks Derrick. I'm just glad I can help give us some more options. Here are a few pics of a couple of different colors I've done so far. Mostly it's been black with red tips, a few black with white tips, and a few all black but I can do any color you want as long as I can find the right filament.
