Yeah, im going to contact them because I can’t find a carbon fiber one anywhere like the ones I’ve seen, only ones available or on google are the forged carbon.its an ark r spec hood. contact them to see if they still make it
There were pics of one on here at one point. Not CF tho. You probably could commission one. May not be that bad price wise if you talked to one of the oem style cf makers. Its just a delete at that point.Would be nice if someone made an OEM ventless style hood.
I mean I'm staring at a OEM steel one off of a crash test Stinger right now but if I'm going to pay that much for one I'd rather get a lighter hood haha. There were pics of one on here at one point. I know for me, the vents in the hood were a unique birthmark. It took me a bit to pull the trigger on my CF hood. Nothing to do with anything other than making my car mine. Have you photoshopped your ride without the vents? Or maybe use the donor hood as a Guinea pig. Pull the vents use some vinyl close in color and see. Yes you lose effort and time but if you end up not liking it you're not stuck guessing "will i like it" if you had one built in CF or glass for that matter.I mean I'm staring at a OEM steel one off of a crash test Stinger right now but if I'm going to pay that much for one I'd rather get a lighter hood haha.
not really. good drink holders plus snow melts faster plus free engine wash.having actual vents in the hood kinda sucks for a daily driver.
Not knowing if you have a hood with vents or not, i do know that the TS hood with all its vents really poses no issues. My hood has functional vents and has been no issue. Even if i took the rain gaurds out on mine, all they do is redirect the water to the front, wouldn't be an issue. Nothing hits the intakes. Mine is a daily and its not like SWFL is dry country. I do agree the market would be there or a ventless hood.

Free engine wash. Drove through snow and car washes no problem.Any Floridians with the Siebon Hood? I saw a sweet Gray Stinger on I-95 North in Melbourne this morning with the hood. I'm wondering with the daily monsoons we get in FL what the long-term issues are with all of the rain water getting in the engine bay.
