Car and paint protection

I dropped my car off today at my good buddies shop to get xpel ultimate plus clear film coating on the entire front end and hood, mirrors and lower rockers along sides. It will then get the GTechniq Crystal Serum Ultra Ceramic coating. I removed the front hood vents to allow the clear film to wrap into the underside of the vent areas.

I purchased car minutes after it was delivered to dealership and did not allow the dealership to wash or prep car so it will only require a full one step paint correction on entire car with a 2 step on a few areas. I will post the pics of the before and after once it is finished.

Dont forget the glossy black trim at the bottom of the A pillar and B pillars! Those scratch easily and almost impossible to correct.

Yes, as @Robs mentioned, check for a film over the trim. That's probably all it is. Some dealers don't remove it before the sale...

It was in fact a film over it lol? The black color made it hard to see it was a film.
