Having a hard time deciding what to do after the unfortunate damage to my hood. Either way I'm going to spend money, damage is under my $500 deductible so insurance isn't going to really help there regardless of what I do.
The cheapest route is just getting it repaired for around $400-$500.
Middle of the road and probably the least amount of downtime is swapping to a Seibon OE style carbon hood which would be around $1100 including hood pins and sorta functional vents.
Higher and most time intensive option is getting a ventless hood and paint matching which would cost me around 1400 but I'd finally be rid of the stigma of fake vents and also a bit of weird history, since it's from a scrapped Korean Safety Test vehicle.
Last option and most pricey would be going with the Seibon and paint matching the top to the car which would total to around $1700, but also could do it later on mostly if I decide I don't like having a non paint matched hood.
What would you do and why? I keep bouncing through these options so figured I'd see what some of my fellow Stinger Owners have to say about it.
