I'm only interested in hearing from Canadian Stingers with JB4. Lets see what works for you.

What fuel are you using and what map?

Thanks!

I orderred JB4 today. I'm planning to just run 91 octane and map 1.

Would like to hear feedback though

I am interested in getting one would like to hear more feedback from fellow Canadians :)

Me and another local Calgary guy are running shell 91 with map 2. Seems to run great.

Both of us sent logs to Terry and he agreed.

Another Calgary guy! What other mods?

Just curious, with that config, do you see any improvements/detriments to the fuel economy?

I wonder how Petrocan 94 will compare to Shell 91 with the JB4, can one of you guys test and send logs to Terry?

Thanks!

According to Terry, Petrocan 94 is dishwater--akin to something like Shell 89 or even Shell 87

I've no doubt that he has reason to believe that from previous performance data passed along by users, but other factors may have been at play.

I sure would like to see some current evidence to back that up, along with what part of the country (which refineries) the fuel came from.

I find this an interesting scenario given that I've tuned three previous cars with forced induction motors, all three using hand held tuners allowing datalogging, all three getting custom tunes after submitting several datalogs on each car, tuned by three different tuners, and all here ended up being able to adjust the tunes slightly more aggressively allowing a slight increase in power over and above the standard 93 octane tunes for all three cars. Yet Terry maintains that, based on his past experience (many datalogs with the Petrocan 94), the gas was garbage, and recommended that I stop using the Petrocan 94 and go to a superior top tier 91 octane fuel. (I don't have a JB4, nor will I in the future)

It is what it is.

so would we agree that the "best" fuel for Canadians is the 91 Shell ?

Map 2 & PetroCan 94 here. @Terry@BMS - care to look over this log and see how you feel about Petro94? I'm curious to know too.

13.19s @ ~108mph @ 2200ft / 2995 DA, AWD, FYI. IAT probably plays a role in the fact it wasn't in the 12's?

What about the Chevron 94. Is it not better than the Shell 91?

I'm lucky to have the only E85 gas station in BC near me so im running 14-15L of e85 to a full tank of regular 87 octane gas. This puts me around e30 and i run Map 3 as a DD with no issues. Poor mans race gas LOL.

Canadian Chevron 94 does not run well in Turbo vehicles. There's countless threads on different car forums about it. Check out GTRlife.com. That being said, add 6-8L (on a 60L tank) of e85 to Chevron 94 and it turns into amazing stuff. That was the combo i used with my Nissan GTR and i was able to run a really aggressive tune safely. At that point my injector duty cycles were maxing out so i didn't go any further with it. With out the e85 the car would go into limp mode immediately on chevron 94, right off the showroom floor lol.

I used Petrocan 94 in my 2010 GT-R (full bolt-on)--had it tuned by Linney Tuning using the Cobb Accessport. Ben was able to tune more aggressively than his standard 93 octane tune because of the gas I was using. Was getting 545 HP at the wheels.
