Canadian Stingers with JB4 - What fuel?

BC resident here also. I'm in a '22 G70 3.3 AWD so same engine and recently put in my JB4, intakes, Denso plugs, and been trying to figure out all this octane info myself. I had always run Chevron 94 in previous tuned vehicles because it gave the best ignition advance.

Stumbled onto this dyno tested Canadian fuel comparison video, very interesting if you haven't seen it yet (3 parts in total)

So according to this test which seemed very thorough, Shell 91 was atrocious on the dyno across 4 different stations.

What I'm wondering though, if they got best results with 94 at 17% ethanol, wouldn't the typical 'may contain up to 10% ethanol' fuels available to us be a good thing then? I had always though 94 w/zero ethanol would be better. Now I'm wondering how to get that mixture or something similar with a booster since E85 isn't anywhere nearby me.

Chevron 94 E0 always have ugly log for any tuned turbo car of mine (I’ve been missing Husky 94 for years). The only good thing about it is seems to be the highest octane after E20/E30 mix.

Shell 93 is available in western Canada now and everyone loves it.
 
All premium fuels should be ethonal free. It is why you should only use premium fuels 91+ in small engine (motorcycles etc) as it does not gum up the carbs or injectors when sitting over winter/off season. When ethonal fuel breaks down it just starts to turn into sticky syrup as it is made from corn. I have had to rebuild many carbs that Sat with it in them and they get damn near locked.

Not sure about up in Canada, but in the US just about all fuel regardless of octane contains ethanol.

Ya you are correct.. I forgot they changed the the federal and Provincial regulations years ago.. but shell 91, esso 91, chevron 94 supreme plus, Ultramar Ultra 91, husky 91, and petro 91 are supposed to be ethanol free

Ha ha. Found that out when I first got my snowblower.
Used regular gas the first winter, and had to clean out the carb before the next winter. All gummed up.
Running high test ever since with no problems. Lesson learned.
