Buying a piggyback... what one?

Eli? Some sort of intake and exhaust mods IIRC. Not a 100% stock car. Don't think he has an IC as his intake temps were going through the roof. :)

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe our stock rear tires are just a little too narrow. Has anyone looked into getting some wider rubber?

I've got 285 555G2s, intake, exhaust, JB4, and have never been to a track. Failure personofied.

Are those 285's on the stock 19'' wheel?

Not sure if he has a posi or not but our development GT is a peg-leg which doesn't help. Car needs drag radials for sure. But for now just leaving it stock so we can focus on improving traction via software trickery as much as possible.

has the open dif given you guys some issues on launch? Have you looked at getting an LSD for it?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Hey guys! Eli here.

Cars mods are:
KN Typhoon
JB4
SSR Downpipes
Thermal catback
Custom ram air
265 ps4s's.

Car would not hook even with -7 psi first gear. The fastest times I got were actually when I lifted during launch control while wheels spun.

My car does not have an LSD, though if anybody has any leads on that I'd be happy to hear... I tried to do a burnout but only one wheel spun, so that probably would've helped.

Track not only was not well prepped, there was also some weirdness in the middle of the track that made the car sidestep a bit more than what I've felt at Sonoma, Fontana, street, etc.

And yes, no IC, my iats started around 130-140F at each run and only went down to 120s during runs. So a lot left on the table there. The protuner car I ran also posted his slips, but only had time to do 1 legit run - 12.46. I think he would have similar if not better times if he ran more. Here are some Dyno charts from last Thursday - I'll post the ones from yesterday later (on mobile right now).

Time for some drag radials and LSD....Not surprised the car is not hooking with almost 500 ft-lbs

I wonder if it's even possible to get the factory LSD, it seems like no one has gotten one yet.

What was the LAP3 guy's mods? He was AWD right?

I would think twice about launching at a track with drag radials. My z06 has a built getrag rear with hardened short and long shafts, and twice I was too lazy to put on slicks and broke a shaft twice....right there on the launch. Drag radials have no sidewall "give" like a slick does. yall need to use a slick....not a drag radial...unless you wanna "test" the drive train....:) Wash

Bolted and tuned stingers are getting into the ~4-flat 0-60 range with a mountain of torque on launch. Most cars that are capable of that stock have at least 285 width in the rear, even with AWD. 255s likely just won't cut it anymore.

Car spins off the line and I'm sure the open diff isn't helping. But I don't think retrofitting a posi is cost effective. A good set of drag radials should get the job done. :)

I kinda want someone to do this, just so we can see where the limit in the drivetrain is

The dyno results from yesterday, a couple hours before going to the track.

Is blue stock? Or just untuned?
