Buying a piggyback... what one?

Way too much.

My best time was 12.4 and i didnt get a chance to run launch control map 2.... have not tried map 3 awd

Not bad! Get in some race gas or E85 and crank the boost! ;)

Yikes hardly worth it lol. In the USA ranges from $75 to $150 per hour of dyno time.

I have never used any other map terry other than 2, whats is the e-85 mix so i can run map 5 or 7 i feel i can be in the 12 flat

Angel 1/3 e85 to 2/3 93 or 30% e85 to your gasoline....easy peasy ....run map3 for sure....im stock and run map3 mostly...its bad azz ....:) Wash

I kinda want someone to do this, just so we can see where the limit in the drivetrain is

Mickey Thompson street slicks in radial would damn sure do the trick....could be the best addon we could do.....they used to be about 200 apiece at jegs or summit.....we would want some with a goodly amount of sidewall....could someone please do a search for the correct tire and wheel for fitment? Also whats kewl is that you can drive em to the track and race, and then drive home easy peasy!
they used to be the ET street...and now I think there are other choices too....get the radial in the slick for sure... that slick, JB4 on map 3, or map5 with some homebrew fuel ought to get us where we wanna be.....don't rule out Toluene in the gas...about a gal should be a good start...just don't get it on the paint!.....:) Wash

im dying to see someone with a jb4 go up against lap3 protuner, any takers out there? or tork or pressertech?

Was earlier in the thread, but I went up against a Pro Tuner car. I went 12.35, pro tuner went 12.46. He only got 1 good run in, though. Could have run faster if he did more runs.

I thought it was different runs though? I meant a head to head drag, lol. Either way, it always seemed to me like both would perform similarly until someone tries something different such as wider tires to get a better launch, hell of a time, almost at the 11's man, good job.

Ah yeah, different runs. Tried to run head to head but that run he made a mistake on launch. I actually do have wider tires, 265 ps4s's (instead of ps4). Hopefully 11s by summer next year haha.

is that on the stock wheel?

In terms of JB4 vs. lap3-pro they are working with virtually the same tuning tools so any performance difference is just going to be a function of modifications and how aggressively the maps are set. The flash tuners have some advantages they can employ over the tuning boxes, so expect them to ultimately do a little better. But the big trade off there is you're forever flagged once you flash it. Once you make the decision to flash though the JB4 is just as useful for logging, tweaking, dynamic boost by gear, etc. :)

The actual ECU tunes will shit on JB4 and pro tunes....ECU TUNE > piggy back..........ECU tune will outperform the piggy box
