Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

I just received mine. Excited. But apparently I can't use it until I have time to change the plugs, even though it said map 1 is okay with current plugs. Now I unfortunately wait.

From inside the car take a thick flathead screwdriver and slide it along the side of the grommet and the side of the hole. Take a straight clothes hanger and from the engine bay...run it along the side of the screwdriver and the side of the hole. From the inside of the car...tape the end of the connector to the clothes hanger. Push the connector along with the hanger into the engine bay so that the connector is at least along the side of the grommet. From engine bay pull the clothes hanger and you’re in the home stretch.

How do you know if the fuel wires are working?

You can tell from a log, as AFR will be leaner and fuel trims lower. Also be sure to look at bank1 and bank2 fuel trims to ensure they are close together. If one is much higher then maybe an issue with just one wire for example.

I have and ELM obd2 reader with the torque app but requires me to reconnect it every time i start the car or else it wont work. Wondering has anyone had anything like thia happen? Would the jb4 obd2 connector work if i just leave it on, or qould it be bettwr to just connext it after i start the car everytime?

Last question guys, if i get the fuel wires, and i find myself having to take them off for soem reason, will it cause any issues since i pierced it with the positap or qould it still run fine?

The JB4 requires exclusive OBDII port access when enabled. You'd do all the logging via the JB4. And if you want to use another tool like ELM just unplug the JB4 OBDII connector.

You can put them on and take them off as often as you'd like. No issues. The factory sleeving gets pushed back over where the pin hole was.

Supply and demand, no need to lower it especially when the competition is still more expensive

We make it modular like that so when we come out with cool updates that require extra hardware, existing customers don't have to spend a ton of money to update.
