Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

I'm looking at a set of HKS plugs now, just trying to decide if I'm going to go with a set of M40iL plugs, or if i'll try and stick with the stock heat range and hunt down a set of M35iL.
I cant remember why, but i believe im using m45il based on recommendation from anothwr member

Harness orientation? Inhave absolutelty no idea what that means lol, care to enlighten me? I had the same code

Lol, you bet. Plug the “rainbow” connector into the MAP sensor and the “brown” connector into the TMAP sensor.

45 is two heat settings colder than stock, which seems a bit excessive for the moderate gains of the piggyback. Last thing I want to deal with is plug fouling and changing out $150 plugs twice as often than usual lol. On top of that, we are only moving 4 psi of boost even on map two, which isn't a lot honestly, and I wonder if any colder is even necessary.

Would be cool to see some plugs from people who recapped stock after about 10k miles to see how they are fairing.

To each their own i suppose, i rather replace my spark plugs more often rather than risk any engine damage, then again I plan on doing up to 6psi, plus other mods

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I switch the two connector and I'm on stock plugs gap to .025 and running between map 2and map 5. I sometime get a P004900 code for turbine overspeed.

are you getting the code with map 2 as well or just map 5?

I've been running map 2 with HKS 40's gapped to .020 with great success so far. I'm tempted to try a little E85 next.

Yes. Once in awhile. I'm running 30% E85 mix
Damn have u been logging, maybe terry can take a look at how to fix the issue or is it something thats just gonna pop up everytime u hit too much boost?

Terry is recommending as close as .018. The car still idles perfectly, so I'm not concerned.

No I have not been able too. I have my owner car that is popping the same code all he have done is intercooler and piping and a catback and no tune on it.

So! It looks like Burger Motorsports, pretty much famous for their JB tunes for BMWs and more - is working on a tune for the Kia Stinger - thanks to @Kiacruzer bringing his already modified Stinger to their shop. Here's what they had to say:

This is very good and interesting news...

Had a customer ping us to see if we'd participate on this site. What are the forum rules re: vendors? :)

OK signed up as a vendor, I think!

Great News...So not that you are official Terry..spill the beans! Meth plans, Direct EWG control with trickery to get around overboost, fueling? what's next?

Lots of cool stuff in the works to really set the Stinger JB4 apart from anything else out there. But, don't want to give our many competitors the heads up sooner than we have to. ;)

I reinstalled mine today after an almost two month hiatus..

New plugs regapped and installed this afternoon..

Holy crap does this car move..

Go fast Mods to date:

Tork intakes
Thermal R&D cat back
HKS 40il
Burger JB4
