Lol quite possibly!!! I'm just going by posts he's made previously as well as a YouTube video he posted. His POV may well have changed since then, so I suppose I shouldn't be speaking for @Sales@Tork as they are also on this forum and can clarify personally

Yes we had one laying around the shop so we decided to throw it on the dyno for shits and giggles. By no means will we be keeping this on the car we simply wanted to see how it acted and may run it at the track this weekend to see if we can get and 11 second pass out of it
Torq. Can i please give you my money for engine parts? Including the FMIC? I love the sound of y'all's exhaust set up. I'm waiting to buy. Also love your YouTube videos. Keep it up.
Not the generic parts ordered from catalog. I want the exhaust, intake tubing....etc, set-up exactly how yours is set-up. I guess your stage 1 or 2 set-up. Cmon.

I agree and all the reviews seem to spell it out pretty clearly.
Map 2 running 16psi is a lot of extra boost for mid grade gas, especially with wide 36 gapped plugs. Sounds like re-gapping to 25 would eliminate some issues but still wouldn’t suggest running Map 2 on 91 gas. More boost needs higher octane and smaller gaps so in theory issues should be eliminated if both rules are followed. Hopefully people heed the warnings and Map 1 is enough extra power for anyone without access to 93.
Ran the past two days on 93 octane on map 1. Yesterday was fine, and most of today was as well. After about an hour of on and off heavy and WOT testing I started getting studders at 2500rpm that would increase further in the rpm. Anything past 4k would studder enough for check engine to flash.

Your spark plugs is crack on one of your cylinder. If you take it in to your dealership and tell them what is going on. They will scan for code and open up a case with Kia. They are replacing all 6 coils and spark plugs on mine. Then I will gap them. Be sure to take your piggyback off the car completely.

So it seems as though gapping the plugs is our last resort before having to upgrade them entirely, hope terry is aware of the issues, i cant even log right now

Let me get this straight. You added a piggyback tune to increase boost, cracked the plugs, and now Kia is replacing them under warranty? I'm curious, during "tell them what's going on," did you mention the tune??
Seems only those with tunes have had plug issues...at least from what I read here.
Wondering if this in fact isolated to tubes with increased boost or is there a systemic issue with all the plugs. NGK IR are fairly good plugs so this will be watched closely moving forward.
BT is well established in BMW worlds and I've not heard of those plugs ever having issue...many running NGK as well.

How many plugs/coils were damaged? Has Kia has identified a non-tune related issue with the coils & plugs? Just curious why Kia is replacing all of them.
