Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

I'm lost.

Are you part of the group that will be testing them out for Burger Tuning?

Is the $200 cost for members to test it out at a discounted rate or is it an introductory price on the finished product?
Yes, Testing

Yes, Testing

Did they give you any idea on what to expect as far as power? Any supporting mods needed (plugs)? Any octane requirement?

I'm thinking maybe I should spend the $200 but hold off on installing it until you guys take the bullet.

I was instructed that its plug and go, I trust their judgment. I've used a lot of their products in the beemer scene with out issues. As far as octane requirements go, Its known that the highest octane available should be used when running any kind of chip or tuning solution.

Thanks.

While I wait on his reply, did he mention anything to you about how much power increase to expect? And if changes are made based on feedback from testers are the tunes able to be reprogrammed?

I just emailed him too. Hopefully he gets to me before all of yall throw your money at him!

Thanks.

Butt-dyno determined between 50 and 60HP (not his words). Also, most BMS systems can be "flashed" or "Reprogrammed" via a data cable and computer when a new version is released (speaking from experience).

I'll have to hit up a buddy of mine and see if I can get some dyno time at the local performance shop if I manage to get one. He'd probably be interested in seeing the stinger anyways.

I was thinking of doing the same, is your stinger RWD or AWD?

Mines RWD so I could get some numbers without transfer case loss. May go ahead and hit him up.

Just sent my payment to them.

Terry replied to my email and said upgraded plugs and other modifications to help it run best are still to be determined. He said power gains are adjustable but they expect 50-60 hp on default setting.

Don't have the 2.0T on hand, but I do have service picture for MAP and TMAP. pinout and connector are identical in the service book, normal values however are not.

I ordered one yesterday. Going to run and data log for Terry and give feedback on the cars behavior. Do think it’s a final product yet. I’m sure they will tweet as needed based off our input and data logs.
