Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Lol nice .... I personally ran map 1 and map 2 .... I ran map 3 way back before the new software updates and had minor issues. Maybe it was the gas , the car didn’t like it or maybe was the jb4 at the time on the software that it was on ... not sure but this summer I will be running map 3 at the track with some e30 gas ...

What does that mean? On my logs I was from 70-78 not sure what that means haha maybe good maybe not so good.
 
My car has done a hard shift from 2nd to 3rd while doing 0-60 twice in the last week. It’s been cold here near freezing if that change so anything. I thought I read it was a Torque limit, is that correct? And is there anything that can be done?

No torque limit. If it's cold enough boost target might get low enough that you get throttle closure that starts to reduce manifold boost during the shift, which you'd feel.

Thanks, I’ll just keep a eye on it and see if it goes away when it warms up a bit. I’ll post a log next time it happens. It’s happened twice in 15 or so 0-60. It’s pretty cool here right now 3-4 Degrees Celsius. Would that be cool enough?

Yes. Mine does it sometimes at like 40 F

It's a bit hit or miss with if it will do it or not.

Idk what the rest of the nation is looking like, but the midwest is freezing and snowing. We are getting another 4 inches on Monday -_-
 
Nice 70s weather today in socal. :) But I'm sure we'll see a lot more when the east coast thaws out in a couple months.

Can I get one lol ... it’s -6 degrees now where I am at ..... what does it actually do ? I am interested in testing it ....lol 40 degrees is summer time for me ....

It's just half of the fuel wire kit. I actually grabbed an extra set of fuel wires. You can have the one with the fuse and I can show you were to install it.

It's just a loose wire with a resistor, DSUB pin, and posi-tap. I guess $15? But since we're just testing them I've been sending them to good candidates based on logs.

Where does this wire connect too? Is it in the harness side or after the plug like the o2?

should be sun or mon but its installed and ready to go. We had lots of snow then rain and then cold. Havent seen a dry road in a bit.

Thanks for the offer but I don't think you're a good test candidate for them. When we know they are doing what we want we'll definitely add them to our site for a small fee.

Sometimes when I do a hard pull in 3rd or 4th and lift off the throttle fast the car cuts power more abruptly would that wire help with this as well?

I feel the same thing a lot of times from 1st to 2nd ....like I lose power, it feels like the car jerks and then it recovers .... I do get it as well in 3rd and 4th but notice it more when taking off from a dig....
