I don't quite understand that. The 2 position rear brace has the long tubes, I jacked up each side individually with a bit of wood just at the edge so the tube would still fit over the now protruding bolt. ??
Yeah, I had the car on jack stands both sides, undid both bolts and jacked up each side individually. So you jacked up one side, attached the brace, lowered, jacked up the other side? I undid both bolts at the same time - I already had the rear up on jack stands because I was doing exhaust tips. Probably not the way to do it.
That would be an ideal spot, also it would be awesome if it curved back towards the seats so it doesnt affect the cargo area as much.I am playing with idea to fab the brace bar behind rear seats. Once the weather warms up, i'll take a closer look.View attachment 77906
So, just to update: had the rear axle/control arm drop 2-3 inches after loosening both nuts. Had to jack it back up to re-assemble.
Now if Ultra hadn't shipped me 2 POS, I could actually have installed them. Rear brace has a flattened bushing, mid brace has one of the long bushings parallel to the bars..
Working with Throwdown performance (whom I ordered through for Black Friday) to resolve it..
They should fit as I wouldn’t believe the chassis would not have changed from earlier models.Anyone install these braces on their 2022?
Hopefully lol we’ll see how it goes. They should fit as I wouldn’t believe the chassis would not have changed from earlier models.
Im a bit skeptical of this guy, I tried calling and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I placed and order and didn't get shipping cost, sent an email- no reply. This guy sends an invoice for you to pay after placing order and finally found shipping to be $220....sketchy, didn't proceed with order. I do want to buy these, where else can you buy these braces? I also only want the rear- 4pt and mid- 2 pt.The Director of Sales and Ops for Ultra Racing said they "have not tested it on the '22 model, but there should be no changes to the chassis". Which is what I figured but you never know.
Looks like the only place to get them currently is their website but they are out of stock on the 4-point. There is a website called Aleksracing but it has few reviews and a couple bad ones that make it look suspect. Plus, the pricing is too low to be real.
Your signature says you have a 22 and have the white line any issues installing? I’m considering buying I have. Sways went in easy, dollar for dollar, one of the best upgrades you can make. You can get these kits F/R with adjustable endlinks for about $400...or so I did.Your signature says you have a 22 and have the white line any issues installing? I’m considering buying I have. A 23.
I’ve been wondering this as well! I reached out to White line if the end links fit 2022 and they’ve only tested on 2021.Your signature says you have a 22 and have the white line any issues installing? I’m considering buying I have. A 23.
When it comes to sways, no differences between models/years….I’ve been wondering this as well! I reached out to White line if the end links fit 2022 and they’ve only tested on 2021.
