It may take some time to get used to it.It may just be that I am not use to such a loud noise inside my car while driving. I may be over reacting a bit. I'll have to listen outside with someone else driving/revving.
Hearing your exhaust though I heard more of a lower brrrr. But in my car the first thing I noticed when driving off was a loud whaaa. And it immediately reminded me of my local 18 yesr old pizza delivery guy with his 20 year old honda.
For those of you considering it. I'd wait for my follow up in a few days.
Id you have it in sport mode and with tc off, it will always hit the rev limiter, even in stock form, basically you have to do the shifting appropriately, that is whybunless im using launch control ill keep the tc onAnybody else having this problem. Sense I put on borla cat back when I have car in manual shift mode with Tc off car hits rev limiter so fast now car shuts down for split second. Notice it is the fastest in sport mode with Tc off and let trans shift for you. Any thaughts out thete
Sure, I'll inbox you now.Interested in the exhaust as well. Can you pm me info?
There's only Jun B.L and Maintec for catbacks. I believe the NGM axle-backs also fit though.Anyone have any suggestions on what exhaust I should put on the 2.0 I’ve seen the Jun BL. I’m looking for some other inputs?
Just a little FYI, there is the Borla "S" type exhaust available from Borla and other vendors and there is the Borla "Polyphonic" exhaust available only from Stinger Haus via your Kia dealer. The Polyphonic exhaust is what was on the orange SEMA Stinger and is tuned specifically for the best sound for the engine it's attached to. There is a difference. My dealer here in Vegas ordered six sets and the cost is $1638 installed and it is Kia authorized and doesn't affect a warranty. The first delivery is set to be this week according to my dealer.
Here is a link to the SEMA car exhaust, you can skip to 1:30
Hmmm....problem pasting links, guess I'll have to add that to my list of Youtube videos to watch.
According to the Borla website, polyphonic refers to tubes placed in the exhaust with holes drilled in them to arrive at specific exhaust notes....kinda like an old church organ... that's it really...
Not that I have heard... I think they mean it is tuned to the model of vehicle , not the specific car if thats what you mean...
