Is it worth the time and energy to change out the factory plastic waste gate solenoid for the Mac valve? Has anyone done this? Works well in my Veloster so I was thinking it can’t hurt.

Just saw this but I really appreciate the help. I’m assuming the vacuum chambers there for a reason so I didn’t toy with it.Those are replacement 3 port solenoids, so they go in exactly like the stock solenoid with all three hose connection.
If you bypass the vacuum chamber then you don't need a solenoid at all.
It does feel more responsive with my GFB BOV’s but that could be my mind playing tricks. One thing for sure is the rigidity of the Mac compared to the plastic oem.Any benefit in upgrading? Stock seems to handle boost just fine.
Plug N Play with the Mac valve as well. I imagine any 3 port would be correct?A Pierburg 7.22908.03.0 will work without any mods, plug and play.
I HAVE THE SAME EXACT SOUNDS and im going to be crazy to know whats it can be2 years later and everything’s smooth except for one annoying factor. When I build up pressure and release to atmosphere there’s a Staw Wars blaster noise with the blow off noise. Sounds like air back pressure being pushed out somewhere on the Injen Intakes. Either at the turbos or at the filter. Injen says they didn’t hear anything out of the usual. That it was just “normal” turbo sounds but I’m pretty familiar with “normal” turbo sounds with a bigger intake.
Yes. Staw Wahs blaster from a KIA Stinger. We wish you guys well, but curiosity, you know?post the sound, i wanna hear
