They all (aftermarket intakes) sound the same.
I can't find a single sound clip of this intake on an otherwise stock stinger. I find it so odd BMS only released a sound clip on a car that also has blow off valves installed. Anyone know of any other videos out there?
General feedback is that the BMS is quieter than other offerings so it’s as much about volume as sound for me.
In my experience with the tork and AP... AP is louder than tork at start. I'm guessing because of the heat shield but tork is louder at low to mid throttle and spools louder because of the same reasonThey all (aftermarket intakes) sound the same.
I think the one thing that took getting used to was being at speed (45 mph+) & lightly throtttling up... not downshifting. Still in 8th. The turbo sound would be loud but the car didn’t match the sound. Like all sound no go. I realized the driving dynamic never changed, but now I could hear the sucking sound with little increase of speed because I never downshifted. Other than that, I agree that easy / chill driving is pretty quiet.

Haha yep, a little strange to hear in that situation. My wife hasn't noticed any difference in sound, if that indicates anything.I think the one thing that took getting used to was being at speed (45 mph+) & lightly throtttling up... not downshifting. Agreed... but...always have the feeling that fuel consumption is average compared to when in smart or eco mode.NEVER LEAVE SPORT BABY![]()

I am, and stock exhaust. I recorded the video with my cell phone so the audio may not be perfectAre you on the stock BOV?
My braces are against the rubber part on both filters, I can't imagine it will wear anything down, the braces arent sharp or anything. Ive had no vibration sounds or anything like that.So I got mine installed today . I pulled pushed twisted and I can't get the strut brace to have any clearance from the intake filter.
Is it supposed to be touching? Will this wear down the filter or cause any vibration?
I just installed the BMS intakes as well and they contact the strut brace slightly. I'm hoping I don't have issues but it sounds pretty normal now.
The sound is amazing. I can't wait to get downpipes and JB4.
I got a jb4 at the same time. Waiting for denso plugs and it'll go in right away .
I was thinking intake would sound better when floring it . You hear the sucking sound for a bit asayou get going then it goes away until redline . And can't hear it as your go through gears .
